The problem with it is that Scott usually gets his ass kicked fierce before the fight is over. Hell, he couldn't even beat Todd or Lucas in a straight-up fight, and Gideon actually killed him! He had to do the fight TWICE and he even needed to double-team him with Ramona.

I feel really, really bad about this, but I have to give it to the nigh-indestructible glitter-monsters.

Ah, but you need to have FIGHTING SKILLS to hurt Scott. Edward doesn't really have have any. He's weaker than pathel, who got OWNED by Scott. Lucas, Todd, and Gideon were all great fighters, which is why Scott had some trouble with them. Edward may be strong and fast, but Scott is strong, fast, and uses strategy. Again, fighting skills.

Scott doesn't use strategy, he goes in swinging blindly, and usually comes out on top, except for every evil ex after Patel.

Twilight "Vampires" are strong, fast, smart, have various superpowers, and have hundreds of years of experience behind them. Scott is strong and fast, but he's also a complete and utter idiot (Brought up by other characters repeatedly) who either barely wins, or only wins when he does something other than fighting. (Lucas Lee and Todd Ingram's defeats, for example)

I'd go with Pilgrim for these reasons:

-Twilight vampires, while it's not outright stated that they have any weaknesses (as far as I know) it is also not outright stated that they don't possess the same weaknesses (minus sunlight) that other vampires do.
-Scott Pilgrim (Being a videogamer and an expert fighter) would have no problem identifying and capitalizing on these weaknesses.
-While Edward Cullen can read minds and probably plan out Pilgrim's every move, let us remember that Todd Ingram also possessed the ability to read minds, and we all remember how well that worked out.
-Extra Lives. If Scott is given ample time to grind and pick up some 1-ups then this fight should be in the bag.

before posting my thought on the outcome remember two things.

1) I think Scott Pilgrim is awesome, I loved the books, enjoyed the movie, and am royally pissed that the DVD isn't loaded with the extras it should have gotten.

2) I hate Twilight with a passion. I have tried to give it the benefit of doubt due to friends who love every aspect of the franchise, but honestly I find it to be crap and setting back Vampires , werewolves and other assorted creatures.

That said, Scott doesn't have a chance in hell in this one. Even if you take the smartened up Scott from the end of Book 6, give him power-ups and teach him to use the Mythril Skateboard, there is only so much of an advantage he could acquire. Against one or a couple, maybe. But against "all" of them... not going to happen.
