The weapons are cool but the bright red on him kills it for me. I'll be holding out for this LB with Soundwave. SW looks like a really nice HA piece. I can't wait to reenact the Safari scene with Megs and Starscream.

sorry but when saw this i went meh. and i don't know why i just don't like.
i personally think it would have been better if they just went with a human alliance soundwave
with him in the vehicle form in the dotm video game.

Except...One thing that is really only cosmetic and unimportant because this figure has been on my want list since the information was first leaked, BUT...Why the frack have they got the HFTD version of the Decepticon logo instead of the film one on his arm? :BANG_HEAD:

Same here! ^_^ We've got a 'Human Defiance' from the first film, we're getting one from DOTM, they should've done one for ROTF! It'd certainly be a vast improvement over the delicate nature of the Deluxe Sideways (and maybe Audi would actually allow the R8 image to be accurately portrayed for once! Haha)

Here's hoping for a 'Movie Universe' line in the near future...Then we could get the aforementioned plus other figures we've been crying out for (Leader Bonecrusher & Blackout, for instance...Also the Biker-Gang could be released in a trio for once, like they were supposed to do for 'Sideways Sneak Attack' which I'm still waiting for! Heh...)

Wow...I am "Wow" not because this figure looks good. I am awestrucked because people actually think that this figure is AMAZING!? REALLY!? Have people gone blind these days? Huge arms small legs....Worst combination ever. This is like Ultimate Prime all over again >.>...I will stick with the Deluxe. Unless if I have an extra 100 dollars or something like that THEN I will CONSIDER this guy.

Seriously this guy is just an awful mess...No wonder peaugh said before that HA Soundwave wont be good enough to reclaim HA line's awesomeness...

If the toy can stand up straighter and not be limited to a semi squatting pose that is shown in the photos, I think it's a pretty good representation of DotM Soundwave. From what I recall, DotM Soundwave has large arms that reach its knees so I think the HA toy looks pretty good for likeness to the CG model.

But yes, we are a little behind now. I didn't even go to BotCon or SDCC and I've already seen pictures of deluxe Wheeljack, deluxe Soundwave, legion Soundwave, and Leadfoot w/ Twin Twist (which actually just look like the Hasbro photos of HA Leadfoot and Deluxe Topspin) elsewhere on the internet.

the guns are cool yeah but the only real reason i would get him is to combine him with my megs. the deluxe is too big for me.

When you say that the deluxe is too big for you, do you mean that he's too bulky like with the legs? Or do you mean that he's just overall too big? Because I'm pretty sure that the Laserbeak that comes with HA Soundwave will be only slightly smaller than deluxe Laserbeak.

EDIT: Of course, I could be wrong and the HA Laserbeak could be scout sized or something.

Definitely buying this. Laserbeak is bigger than he should be, and the Gould figure is too small [but that's the norm for HA human figs.] Then again, I'm buying this for Soundwave, and he more than makes up for his two out-of-scale partners.

One thing though; I wish his blue "speaker pods" were translucent. I kind of liked the ones on his ROTF deluxe fig.

BTW, did anyone notice he's sporting the old-style G1 Decepticon symbol on his left elbow's speaker pod? The Bayverse version has smaller, more sinister eyes.

I love the license plate! I don't collect HA, so I won't get this, but it does look pretty cool. I love SW's design, however, and I'll definitely be getting his Deluxe toy.

Pretty awesome figure except his legs look a little small and weak and not to crazy about the head sculpt and lazerbeak looks a little stiff haha. Still getting him the first chance I get, but I think the deluxe version looks a lot better.

Slightly disappointed LaserBeak turns into the gun, but I am glad he's in scale.
SoundWave himself looks really nice though I'll still be using the Deluxe for scale purposes.
I wonder if LaserBeak in gun mode works with Deluxe SW, then I can get rid of that giant MechTech...thing....he has.

Looks great! I'm really digg'n the overall design. Just wonder were Lazer beak will go in vehicle mode.

Speaking of vehicle mode, why no pics? Did they not have him displayed in vehicle mode as well? That sucks that they seem to have full pics of every other bot in both bot and vehicle, but no vehicle for soundwave. :-(

beak's head looks like waspy.

What'sit with people and Soundwave and Frenzy?they are not, asfar as the movies go, a ttean, Yes I know G1, yhis ain't it. I just hope there's a place to put Beak. Be glad for footpegs.

You know, I think I;d rather have had the prisoner Carly than Dylan, only because my vollection of Alt/HA cons has no use for fleshies. And Jerry? Jerry and his actor can step off a skyscraper, I've yet to see a good movie of his, and no, those pieces of **** Hangover movies don't count as anythong close to good. I'd rather be shackled, water-totruered, and forced to watch RoTF a dozen times. He tries too hard to dleiver lines/parts that are not, nor will they ever be, funny, in hopes he appeals to the lowest common demoninator. I will give you, the part where's being stabbed by Laserbeak/his computer mouse was fairly believeable, but that would be his only redeeming part.

And hitting the concrete. Somehow, the torutous pain I endured in having to watch Hangover with friends was appeased by him going "Splat"
