Does this mean that FE Optimus and Bulkhead are finally getting REAL mass releases? If that's the case, November's just fine...

the FE stuff, the Dark energon stuff are cool all around
however Tailgate being included in this stuff is really great to see as a cool nod

i will be getting thundertron, magnus and dreadwing, because they're awesome
i appreciate that hasbro is re-releasing the FE versions, but couldn't they have do so a few months earlier, before i shelled out 85 euros on bulkhead?

FE news is good news. I would like to get a Vehicon. Really glad I was able to find the rest at retail though, but this is great for those who haven't bit the scalper bullet yet.
These Dark Energon guys are intriguing but I'll probably pass on them. The only one that truly catches my eye is that vaguely Skywarp-ish seeker.

I see that now. I still get an Armada Blurr vibe from him, but Slicer fits.

Me too!
Man, I'm having a tough time whether to pick TTomy or Hasbro Prime Voyager UMagnus. Maybe I get both. That mold is astonishing gorgeous since Animated UMagnus. Also, the display with the missile incorrectly placed on the shoulder reminded G1 UMagnus so much.
So far got the Cyberverse already, can't wait to get my hand on the Voyager and FOC deluxe. Speaking of the FOC UM, hopefully they repaint his red eyes to blue. They did the same thing to Titanium UM during the 2006 convention.

According to the previous image we saw (in the catalogue scan), the claw can be removed and pegged on its arm. Someone also mentioned the possibility of it pegging onto the back of the figure.
Not sure about the gun, makes me think of this:

I'll definitely be getting Dreadwing and Skyquake if he gets a release. Magnus is very blue and a tad slim but those massive shoulders make up for it. I'll get him simply for not being an Optimus repaint.
But the elephant still absent from the room is Breakdown. Can't wait for the new podcast to hear from Seibertron as to whether his absence was discussed and whether he will continue to be MIA.

He isn't coming out of Asia, unless you pay Takara for it.

Is there any kind of comparison list for the FE figures and the RID versions (or whatever the current ones are called)? I need to figure out what figures I need to buy now and which ones that I prefer the FE version.

My recommendations, based on my experience as I own the main 4 FE deluxes
Bumblebee: First Edition, although the RID mold grows on you after a while. It really streamlines his transformation. Recommend the Hot Shot version so you have both.
Arcee: RID. It's the same size in bike mode, shorter in robot mode (which means she scales better), has improved arm articulation, and her backpack is less cumbersome. Only downsides are she only has 1 blade, no waist articulation, and she's the wrong shade of blue. And she can't flash.
Starscream: I don't have the RID, but all the reviews I've heard say they're about equal in accuracy vs. kibble. I'd go for the FE because it's a deluxe and therefore scales better with Voyager Megatron.
Cliffjumper: The RID has a more screen-accurate chest, shoulders, legs, and feet, but it is made entirely of fake parts (the hood, roof, and trunk of the car all fold up on his back), and the arms are pretty bad. The FE has very show-accurate forearms, but the rest is a little disproportioned compared to the show model. HOWEVER, he doesn't cheat. His car bumper really makes his shoulders. His car roof really makes his chest. The grille in his abdomen is still fake, but that's pretty much impossible to do any other way. The sides of his car mode fold up to make his legs, so he has very little backpack, just the car hood and front fender. Plus he has the guns. RID is more accurate, but the FE is a better toy. I gotta go with the FE.
