The original G2 toys were just straight redecos of the G2 toys, so it stands to reason that same applies here.jay5 wrote:So by "G2" do they just mean repaints or is there anything physically different for the molds, for example "G2 Menasor"?
Shadowman wrote:This is Sabrblade we're talking about. His ability to store trivial information about TV shows is downright superhuman.
Caelus wrote:My wife pointed out something interesting about the prehistoric Predacons. I said that everyone was complaining because transforming for them mostly consisted of them just standing up-right. She essentially said, 'So? That's what our ancestors did.'

Carnivius_Prime wrote:Scattershot? Damn. The original G1 toy was one of my faves. This is just a another half-hearted retool. Heh, when I was a kid I used to tease one of my friends for his Masters of the Universe figures constantly re-using the same body parts over and over and over and over but that was kind of acceptable back then as action figures were still a 'new' thing. It's 2015 now and Hasbro are just churning out constant unimaginative boring junk using the same pieces over and over with the increasingly rare pleasant surprise such as Sky-Lynx (though still messed up slightly by forcing him into the Combine Wars gimmick).

JelZe GoldRabbit wrote:By the by, anybody who "G2" Powerglide and Blackjack are based on? Neither Powerglide or Runabout/Blackjack were released in G2, so I'm wondering where their colors came from.

Desslok2201 wrote:Here's another thought on the Computron/betatron thing. Maybe the plan is to only do Scattershot, so there will be no Computron proper. I really can't see Takara doing all 4 limbs just to put out Computron. Unite Warriors may just not have an Abominus or Computron
