what do you mean nuts?? that means that it is the original soundwave mold and not the reissue/Soundblaster mold which should mean more value.

I already have 2 G1 Soundwaves toys.

I've wanted a Soundblaster for a couple of years now and I can't ever find a TFC Soundblaster and when I do find one I'm usally broke.

Thanks for the kind words guys. I'm only doing what I would hope others would do. Not to sound tacky, but have a little faith in people and it usually comes back in spades. Sure there are a lot of people out there looking to make a buck, but some of us are trying to help a brother out.

Speaking of which, 5 out to fellow members, and hopefully another 5 going out if I can make more trips this weekend.

If I could afford to buy a quantity of these to help out some fellow seibertronians I would but that set wasn't cheaps

At least it's not the goddamn Brian's Toys markup. They want $120 for it. To someone like me, it might as well be $750 at BBTS. I am not going to pay that even when I do get some money, so I guess I'm out.

Anyone having any problems with thier order? I ordered it Monday at around 11 and it still hasn't shipped. Should I be worried?

I wouldn't worry just yet. Order processing and shipping with HTS gets backed-up right after a convention when a number of their exclusives go on sale. You just have to be patient. If you got your order through and have a confirmation number, then most likely your item will arrive eventually.

I'm wondering, and I haven't seen in written anywhere, how many did SDCC Soundwaves did they make? 1000? 10,000?

I'm sure it was more than 1000...I know the second round of it showing up on HTS there were 500. The first day on HTS I think they lasted till about 5pm eastern so I would think there was well over 500 that go round. And then there was however many they sold at the convention. But I don't know how many they made (or will make if a s**t load more show up on HTS like Nemesis Prime last year.)

Hasbro doesn't release exact numbers, and to be honest, I think the company is too inept to be able to accurately do something like that!

All we can do is use conjecture, so let's see....

Production of a typical single-carded Star Wars figure is around 30,000-50,000. I would imagine Soundwave was what, 20,000 tops? We'll never know, but judging by the numbers on HTS and the still-high demand (I still don't have one yet either), it was indeed a "low" number compared to, say, ROTF Bumblebee or something.
