Seacon giftset??????

Postby 3.8TransAM » Sun Oct 10, 2010 10:59 pm

Was under the impression that a US one did not exist? (talking about 88 seacon release here) I know about the new re issue and the TFCC one and the Japanese gift set(both versions)

I just noticed TF source has pictures of one that was sold prior and appeared to be a US version?

Was there a US version at all? Or was there one but the release was literally so small, it;s considered not to basically exist?

Poked around but could find no other info.

Just something weird I found and it's bugging me basically :CON:

There was definately a Hasbro Seacon Giftset in 1988, but it seems to be quite a rare piece now.

For some reason it omitted Nautilator unlike its' Takara counterpart, which was designated as D-318, although the BWII "God Neputne" repaint also left him out!

I dont' think the gift-set came to Europe either, but the carded figures did, compounding his scarcity.
