Seeking Transformers Measurements

Hello Everyone,
As a project, I'm compiling dimensions of the different Transformers GI figures. With these, I can calculate how tall they'd be in real life. For example, a Lamborghini of a certain type would be such and such feet long. Sideswipe is so many centimeters in car mode. So, I should be able to figure out how tall he'd be in robot mode.
Please post your G1 figures, including measurements (preferably in centimeters) of both robot and alternate modes.
This would be a fun exercise. Off hand, it would be interesting speculating what Cliffjumper's height actually would be, considering he's a Porsche and not a Volkswagen. I'd be especially curious about Devastator.

I think you mean scale?
G1 Jetfire is 1/55
MP Starscream is 1/60
G1 Rumble is 1/1 (cassette mode)
The Autobot cars G1 are more or less 1/200
Cliffjumper as a Porsche,just a squashed Penny Racer/Choro-Q size.
You can also find the model sheet scale at TFwiki as the size of the 'bots were really waaaaaaaaaay all over. Hope this helps.

I wouldn't necessarily agree that Rumble (or any of the tapes) were 1/1, given the way they sometimes treated them as full size cassettes instead in the fiction. If Blaster is a boombox and Soundwave an off brand Walkman style player, this is especially true, since those mini sized tapes wouldn't be used in those but in those "note to self" type mini recorders.

That's a good question. It's one thing the Michael Bay movies wisely avoided. It was fun, by the way, seeing Frenzy as a boombox.

Oh, yeah. The issue with SW. Shinji Aramaki designed him based on a Walkman mini while the Hasbro G1 canon had him as an original full sized cassette player

Sideswipe and Cliffjumper are taller in robot mode because their heads and legs slide out. Devastator is a lot bigger because of mass shifting
