I was able to figure out how to connect to YouTube's API tonight. We can have imported videos from YouTube. I generated a list of 9 or 10 channels to populate it with. There are more that come to mind.

I also want Seibertronians who want their videos to be part of this to be able to add their YouTube channel ID. I haven't figured out that part yet and will have to think on it. In addition, I think users should be able to control whether or not their channel is viewable on SBB and which videos are viewable. The ability to control content like this will probably be part of a new members-only section where you can control your YouTube videos on Seibertron and be able to see where you've participated (with likes, favorites, comments, etc).

But that's for another day. For now, we've got a YouTube section populated with some stuff.

Not sure if any of you realize how huge this ... I just added playlist support for all of these youtubers and also added like 8 more YouTubers to the list as well. Seibertron TV aka Big Broadcast is officially a thing. I'll have to figure out how to get you guys to add your YouTube channels to the "official" Seibertron Youtuber list and we'll go from there. Basically it'll be YouTube just for Transformers fans right here on Seibertron.com. I've wanted to do this for years. Last time I tried this was about 8 years ago and it was a "scraper" script. This time around it connects to the public YouTube API. I still don't quite understand why YouTube let's me have full access to all of this data but they do. And it's working. And it's importing to Seibertron. And we'll have a new way to interact with YouTube on Seibertron. I'm excited.
