i got the game saturday for ps3 and i got the ps3 saturday too!!!! the game is awsome all around i love every bit of it
when i get off i want to get back on
the multiplayer is awsome as anticapated
im already a level 7 scientist
i will probably soon be getting autobots for ds and maybe wii later on
i love this game

It's terrible.

Now that I have your attention, put down your lynching equipment and listen:

It's awesome. It's not like playing the cartoon, take the best parts of the cartoon and movies, melt them down, pour them in molds from Halo and Gears of War and Resistance, and you have War for Cybertron.

there are a couple things I don't like; battles can get quite hectic and I've more than once ended up dead because my run-and-gun style works heavily against me. Another thing I don't like is certain faces. Megatron's MOUTH glows red like his eyes, like his head is just a mask and helmet over a big light bulb. A few other TFs do this too, some more obvious than others, but it seems worst with Megatron.

Otherwise, the game is a slice of fried gold. I may end up as the Scientist class in mutliplayer, despite being the Healer class, flying is still so damn fun.

Ooh, and the banter is top notch:

Starscream: They've booby trapped the power nodes! Fools!

Skywarp: Are you calling us fools, or the Autobots fools? Because I'm getting the feeling you don't respect me.

Starscream: Silence, fool!

Do you have it on PC, or console? If on PC, does the controller work, or will I need XPadder?

BUAAAAAAA this sucks SOOO MUCH!!!! i live in Costa Rica!!! and i wont be receiving the game up until monday, saturday if i'm lucky :sad:

i want this game sooooo bad!!!! :KREMZEEK:

i feel so Jealous of all of you! but once i get it i shall became the master of the WAR FOR CYBERTRON!!! who ever wants to add me to play in the ps3 after next week, my PSN id is kalyrules. hope to see all of you next week so we can play this awesome game!!! frustration X 10000

What my thoughts are?

Well let's put it this way,

PS3 is about to get another new customer.

90% just because of the game and 10% because it also has Blu Ray.

Only downside I have so far is the lack of true melee combat. Otherwise, everything is win.

It's awesome. Plain and simple. I'm really enjoying all the back-story, especially how Starscream defects to the Autobots. I do find the levels to be longer than expected and I die to easily in some situations. :BANG_HEAD:

I haven't made it to Autobot campaign yet, but working on it!

If you are planning to get the version for the Wii, I'd wait until the price comes down. Having not played the other versions yet, it sounds like the Wii version is definitely the sub-standard version.

It is not a true third person shooter, the best way to describe it is that it is more like the Time Crisis games. Basically the game automatically moves you from shooting gallery to shooting gallery. The only time that you can actually control the character's movement is when the game automatically transforms you into alt mode and you have to drive (or fly) to the next shooting gallery.

The game itself is not horrible (I liked the Time Crisis games) but the game is pretty easy, and the graphics are really sub-par when compared to the vids I've seen for the other consoles.

Sorry, I wasn't planning on going into that much depth, but hopefully my opinion is helpful to someone. Like I said, the game itself is not horrible, but I'd wait until the price comes down. $20 would be a reasonable price to pay for the Wii version.

That's why I never got a Wii. Graphics are substandard across the board and I like graphics. If I were Nintendo, I'd be really worried about the new motion controllers for the other systems.

Ah, I loved TIme Crisis, though not owning and game systems, I've only played it at theme parks etc.
Anyhow, if/when I get a DS, I'll be getting it for that, I hope it's awesome. It sure looks like it will be.

I don't own the game just yet, but I will Thursday night. I'm a PC guy and folks have complained about the lack of customizable controls. People like me wondered if you could use the 360 controls, and it's now been confirmed that you can use it.

I love every bit, went out and got a preorder from Gamestop and an Xbox just for this, I am not dissappointed. The graphics are awesome, the characters are awesome, the fighting is awesome.

I'm currently spending the rest of summer playing this with a fusion cannon in one hand and a MTn Dew in the other.

Here's what I want to know. About the pre-oder codes, are they Xbox Live codes you enter in the guide, or are they codes you enter at the main menu, start menu, etc., that can be shared between people? I'm hoping for the latter, but given my experiences with most pre-order bonuses this seems unlikely.

Someone please clear this up for me?

Although I don't even own the game yet (or the platform I want it on), I'm giving it infinity thumbs up. I still don't see any thoughts on the XBox versionm because that's the version I would like. My best friend was able to try out the demo download, and he said it was great, but I would like to hear others opinions. Curses to anyone who diss this game!

well heres my thoughts (remember this for the wii) this game sucks it makes me want to cry no online war no multiplayer customization in fact its just story and some clock challenges very very very very........ETC(this goes on foreverjust to tell you its ver.. i mean exstreamly) easy and and very very very very........ETC(this goes on foreverjust to tell you its ver.. i mean exstreamly) short i beat the game in two hours i would not recomend this suckish game if you are buying it for the wii but for the ps3 and x360 go go now what are u waiting for dont waste ur time

Amazing game! Simply phenomenal! :APPLAUSE:

The campaigns are fun, especially when you're playing Co-Op with friends. The multiplayer is really fast paced, so even if you're good, be prepared to die quick! I had a feeling I wouldn't be a monster in this game like I am in Revenge of The Fallen, and I'm not, in fact, I even got my skidplate handed to me a few times the first couple of matches. But I am improving quick, leveling up, and am now winning more matches quite efficiently.

This games multiplayer is a vast improvement over RoTF's, and RoTF had great multiplayer to begin with (in my opinion), so with the good campaigns and multiplayer, especially since the multiplayer is balanced unlike RoTF (yeah, thanks a lot Jazz and Sideswipe), I agree with IGN's rating of a solid 9.0! I love it High Moon, nice work!

Thanks Bagoshhh. I just watched the first Wii levels on youtube... sigh. I better start saving up for that PS3.

I've just got done playing the first campaign of it. First and foremost the artwork and graphics are stunning! I'm having just as much fun with this as I did batman. Gameplay is freakin awesome, so much better then the other stuff that has been out. Really, REALLY impressed with what they did with this game and the story. It really gets you into the game, you totally get lost in it.
