just kidding about the gobot shirt of course --that's sacrilege and I despise them anyway. Although leader one has been spotted at the occasional Starbucks in LA -the one that Prime and Megs like to go to.

got some car problems that need to be resolved tomorrow -or i won't be doin much of anything - but nonetheless psyched about the get together !

A lot of folks do wear their TF shirts to the hotel bar, which is why I had mine on. At least I had a button shirt that I wore over my T-shirt. I did manage to look respectable for that dinner, but not many people would have been able to pull it off.

The Seibertron.com meet-up is a good place to meet people if you don't know anyone. Lots of good memories to be made with that crowd. Someone ought to take an official photo this year at the meet-up.

I registered to go, then had a conflict of schedule and had to cancel. I hope there will be a whole slew of new japanese minicons by next year to be able to hunt for. :grin:

It was nice seeing some familiar faces as well as a bunch of new faces. I couldn't believe how small or unprepared the Hotel bar was though, glad we moved to the second bar and got the party going.

Shoot...no wonder I didn't find you guys. I went to Charlie's late because I wanted to watch some of the stuff at the Film Fest. I only saw TFW at Charlie's so I left. Still had to drive home and I was already half asleep.

I tried to catch you guys at the Paramount Party. I saw Ryan at a table when we first got there. But you guys left the table before I got there and never came back. Funny thing is we ended up on the same bus leaving Paramount but I didn't know until the bus was already moving. lol

Hopefully I can catch you guys on Sunday.

I didn't meet any of you guys. :sad:

It was WEIRD, actually. I think y'all must have somehow secretly recognized me and deliberately avoided me. I finally cornered one of y'all at the Hilton hotel but like five minutes later my shuttle arrived, so he escaped with his sanity intact. I even tried to say hi to Ryan at Paramount after he collected his award, but, nope. I got shut down. WAAAAAAAH. Why do you hate me so? (Why am I still here if you hate me so? Masochism.)

I was at the Sheraton at 8:30.

Kind of funny story: I figured I must know SOMEONE there from Seibertron so I just picked someone and started talking to him, in my usual idiotic way. Turns out it was Chris Mowry. D'oh!

Worse yet? Once I told him who I was, he remembered something not very flattering I'd said here about him. And proceeded to hold it over my head for the rest of the evening.

Huh? Did you miss the Seibertron.com exodus from that pathetic box the Sheraton jokingly calls a bar? That place had room for like 20 people, including the bartenders.

I thought I talked to everyone from Seibertron, how did we miss each other?

It was nice meeting everyone. I had a really cool first Botcon experience! Although I am new to the forums I am not new to Seibertron (Ponycorn's husband).

I look forward to seeing everyone next year!

I saw several exodus...es? Exodi? from the bar, but since oh like just about everyone had their back to me, I couldn't read t-shirts. Next year, I vote for Sign on a Stick. A Moses pole. Part the Red Sea of non-Seibertronians with the Mighty Moses Pole!

I was the plump chick with the glasses and the dark hair in the stupid looking bun.

I'm a little sad I didn't get to meet any of you--I was particularly eager to meet ponycorn! However, finding the Shattered Glass Starscream at a reasonable price did take some of the hurt away.

HK, did anyone even see me or did I have my Invisibility Cloak on?

hellkitty: Very sorry you missed our exodus from the Sheraton bar. Hope you had a great time at the convention anyway. Next year just keep pestering random people til you find us, lol, or hope we can develop a better system for getting everyone together and organized. Maybe start next year's meet-up with a round of introductions so people can find the folks they're interested in meeting.
