Been working on an sg magnus piece, more like a statue and as such doesnt transform.

the base is going to consist of an sg megatron chopped in half on the floor reaching out with his hand and magnus’s foot stood on him, cybertron city themed environment for the base also. Progress will l likely slow down over the busy xmas period but i will post updates as they happen.

The paintjob looks exquisitely metallic so far, so I'm excited to see where this goes! Is the statue classification just from how you plan do display him, possible paint rub issues, or has he been modded to prevent transformation?

Transformation would technically have been possible still, the only mods really are the face and the removal of the plates that hung over the hands, however, the figure has been glued into this pose now and large portions of parts that are non visible in his robot form that would be visible if transformed are left unpainted.

The megatron also can no longer transform at all as it had been cut clean in half at a diagonal angle, its not visible in the picture but the magnus is also holding a sword, the idea being that magnus has just defeated him in a battle.

The main reason for it is to make something that can be seen as more than just a painted toy, there are many transformers statues that sadly sit outside of my ability to ever afford them but i am capable of making myself one for a fraction of that cost
