Since the interest mostly lies in my Goriras I'll post those when I get home. S'just a matter of copy/pasting. But there's two completely different ones that happen to be named strangely... and exactly the same. The big one is Perfect Effect and an original piece, and the small one is Transart Toys which is basically a undersized KO with a handful of updates.

The Dino's are KO's. But they're high quality, out of production, and actually pretty pricey themselves. The set of four cost about what one legit cassette would cost. #-o

Aaaaaaand I don't know much about those. But if they're anything like my Dino's then it's probably worth it.

Alrighty, first up is Transart Toys Beast Gorira. He's (for a first) an undersized KO with a few alterations. He's a little more posable (ankle tilts, toes pivot, ball joint neck, thigh swivel), the shields can open up while still connected, and his chest guns are retractable like on the show.

The quality however... leaves something to be desired. Mine hasn't broken, but I've heard its common. He's a little fiddly not all that solid, but it's not horrible. I can't necessarily recommend him though. but anyways, pics!

Then there was Perfect Effect Beast Gorira!
Note: I'm not transforming him the way he's supposed to be according to PE, I'm doing it like he looked on the show (ie: that alternate looking jet mode).

Transformation in General- Kind of a pain in the ass. The torso is different for almost every mode and can be difficult to figure out. But plastic quality is top notch and there's no worries of breakage.

Gorira- Awesome. It's really neat how the arms extend, the legs aren't as limited as you'd think, and that head with opening mouth is as good as it gets.

Tank Thingy- Surprisingly solid! And the bugger rolls pretty smoothly even.

Jet Thingy- Equally solid. I may or may have not ran through the house making whoosh noises before photographing.

Robot Mode- Is where it's at. God damn is it a thing of greatness. There's so much you can do with him, what with his posability and other options with his guns/wings/shields. One bummer though, his forearm shields can't do the open spread thing, nor connect to the top of the shoulders like they did sometimes in the show. Seems like a simple thing and to exclude it is silly.

All I'ma say is, there's no reason to be on the fence about this guy. If you're interested, got the dough, then go for it. Pics!

According to a certain other site:
The giftset contains the six Japanese exclusive heads Kirk, Lione, Loafer, Rodney, Shuffler and Trizer. Rounding out the set are Fortress Maximus Spike, Grand Maximus Spike, Lord Zarak and Black Zarak!

I'd almost consider getting a Scorponok (sans head) off of eBay (for cheap!) to use with this set of KOs!

Whoa, what a haul! I'm probably most jealous, amusingly enough, of that trio of Armada Seekers.

How's Revolver Core BTW? I was tempted to get him before WJ88 landed me with the Generations figure, though I still kinda want Recoiler and Riftshot (AKA Rack'n'Ruin).

They're..... I'm glad I didn't pay full price. That sounds harsh, but they're not bad. I had low expectations, and they have some positives, but they just don't do the trick. No locking tabs, flat head, little details... they're basically a carbon copy of the G1 with articulation.

Which.... is something I just realized I've always kinda wanted... :-?

Honestly I don't think you can go wrong with either Roady. With the official offering being so kickass I don't know if the retail price of RC is worth it. But if you can nab him for cheaper I say go for it.!

Yesterday's haul! The MP knickknacks continue with this MP10 flight stand, which I'm SO happy I didn't have to actually by an Asia MP10 to get, and my local TRU supplied the new RID's.

Got these fellas today. Not much to say as 2/3 are repaints. The Windy mold is awesome, the new face mask is neat, and the paint apps are better than the first release. Skywarps paint apps are quite nice too, and the mold is great, we better get a Thundercracker.

The newbie is Blurr, and he's not bad. Bot mode doesn't look lacking in any area, poses good, but the car... well I'm not a fan of the style and you can you see right through him. But he's alright.

That's disappointing to hear that Repro missed this opportunity to enhance his bot mode! If I was braver, I'd try some paint touch-ups.....or even fine-point Sharpies.
