That was pre-summer (and I did see it and thoroughly enjoyed it!), just like Fate of the Furious. "Summer movies" for me start Memorial Day Weekend and last through Labor Day Weekend. So, I still stand by my statement :-D

TLK TRU Exclusive Optimus Prime Mission to Cybertron.... $70 CAD? Barf. But 50 bucks after a delicious coupon? Mmmmmmmmmmmmyes please! ALSO! BOTW Zelda Amiibo reissue?? Thank god! I did NOT want to succumb aftermarket prices. Not only that, it was the only one on the pegs, and the girl said she'd only put them out like 15 minutes earlier :shock:

Soooo... Bee.
Lots has been said about him, mostly negative. Out of the box, he's 90% in car mode and getting him that last 10% of the way is a son of a B! Getting all tabbed in is such a pain, but it can be done, and he does look good once that wizardry is preformed.

The transformation is complex and he pulls off some neat moves. His proportions are perfect, like he came right off the screen of the first movie. And he is the very definition of "pictures don't do it justice". And sorry, my pics do suck :lol:

. I've heard he can be quite loose, but at least on my copy I have no issue posing him. And damn, can he pose!

I think what I'm most impressed with is his face sculpt, and legs (looks and transformation). Maskless, he looks outstanding. That face sculpt. Mahgawd. But that mask... it doesn't look terrible, but (on my copy at least) is very unstable. Trying to move it into place causes it to snap off almost every time. Anyways... legs! The legs incorporating the wheels is god damn brilliant. Also: diecast. He's got a fair amount. He's weighty and feels good.

But in the end I don't know if I can recommend him since quality seems to vary so much. But I absolutely love him. Thumbs up.

TLK TRU Exclusive Optimus Prime Mission to Cybertron! Earth truck Prime is actually better than I remember. Pick out more details with paint and he's be pretty great. He does a lot for such a small mold, but those feet and that backpack make him almost unposable. But the protoform mold.... I love. A lot. Pod mode is neat, and bot mode is super detailed and posable. And this is the best deco yet.

There is a 3P hammer out there....

PRIME-STAR PS-M01 Battle/War Hammer

Personally, it's not for me simply because TLK Bee is an entirely different design, and MPM-3 is based on his first movie appearance.

Ugh... no sooner I am finally graced with a BOTW Zelda Amiibo, do I find out Nintendo screwed me out of THREE MORE Zelda Amiibos :roll:

Sooooo..... I never saw these once... and they came out a month ago??! Thanks Nintendo. Why do I always get hurt by the ones I love most :lol:

Speaking of getting screwed... I was supposed to meet a local guy for a first release MP-8 Grimlock. It was an amazing deal, but through some miscommunication I got stood up. It sat at our meeting spot for thirty minutes (making me late for another meetup for that Hasby MP-1) and he didn't answer any of my messages. When he did reply, all he said was "oh well". What happened to manners in this world? I was pretty pissed that that was his response, and I said as much. A simple sorry or "my bad" even would have mitigated the situation. He did apologize afterwords though. I bet I could still get the figure too.... but the stubborn side of me is fighting really hard against it. So fellas, is it pride swallowing time, or screw him he had his chance? :-?
