I keep coming within a hair of getting Sphinx and Gundog, but always hesitate as Mirage and Hound seem like no Brainerd for Tamara to do.

Also, as far as temptation goes, looks like a couple of awesome Bkitzwings are coming out.

Rather enjoy Sphinx and Gundog for a few years and possibly have to sell them (assuming Takara could do better, which I doubt) than have to wait years or an eternity for Takara to maybe or maybe not do them, and my collection has gaping holes or I have to use my social security check to buy them because I'm 90 years old by the time Takara does them.

I had Quakewave 3 years before Takara made mp29. Sold quakewave for what I paid, bought mp29. So for 3 years longer than the "official or nothing" crowd, I had a shockwave and was happy. Same with getting GT J4zz, Appolyon, ft bugs, Spinout, etc. will Takara make them? Probably. Will I wait? Hellz no!

The deco is so nice, it's NOICE.

I don't like Road Rage because her head floats there (like Omnigonix Spinout!! I knew I saw that somewhere before!!) but the "Tracks" version has a locking head, very tempting..

Also, it's a black Corvette Stingray. And a Decepticon in Decepticonny colors. Snap. I should buy it for my brother (he's always wanted that bodystyle Stingray)

Not me. Like my other MP's, all he has to do is hold a pose on a shelf and look sexy 8-)

Well, I thought it did..I don't have him but I remember complaining about Road Rage and someone said "Tracks' head locks/tabs in securely". So, maybe?

It does. It's scary the first time you do it, but it's not bad. Not sure if it is officially supposed to do it, but it works, and works well.

So I started looking at 3P MP Dinobots again, and it didn't take long to drive myself nuts. I'm not agonizing over which company to go with anymore (Fanstoys), but now its about which version....

From what I can gather, there's the following:
-Normal (grey plastic suitable for MP08)
-X (silver painted, richer gold?)
-Diaclone colored
-G2 colored

The reason I'm considering this expensive venture once again is because an opportunity to get a Sever on the super cheap has arisen. But it's the normal version, and if I were to go on this journey I'd want the the same Reximus that Cram has. But that would dictate I go with all the X versions of FT's dino's thus defeating why I started this whole self debate, cause having them not match each other is NOT something I can handle

So lets just say, I do buy all the X versions and Reximus. That is some pile of money. And why isn't there an X version of Swoop yet? If I go with the regular versions, look at this pic. The golds don't match on either of the three!

8-} 8-} 8-} 8-} 8-} 8-}
And this is why Jaki doesn't have any 3P dino's.

If I go third party I'm getting GigaPower. I'm boycotting FANSTOYS for no reason.

Just installed one of my articulated hands on Reximus. He's such an awesome figure!!! Also, he is flat gray underneath the painted silver if that helps your decision..

Huh... how does Giga's scale match up with Rex? Cause they're huge

And you know what? #@%& it. The Dinobots are too big a deal for TT to ignore. It might take years but I'm sure we'll get official ones that scale with MP10 ;)^

Well the only one currently out is Guttur and I think it's pretty good. I'm also pretty sure Reximus is bigger than what FTs Grimlock is gonna be, and I think Guttur is bigger than FTs Snarl! So, there's that..

Thats what I believe too. Id rather spend the 3p dino money on other things for now, and like that when we do get to that faithful day I will hopefully have some money for them :)

Thats a pretty amazing price for a show exclusive MP, only 10$ more than MP Tracks at TFSource.

Back to the dino discussion, the most I've spent on a figure is $160 (hard to believe, eh?!), and that was for Reximus Prime. I'd prefer any dino's to be that or less. I think GigaPower's Guttur has been on sale before so the next time it comes around I'm pulling the trigger. Back in the G1 days, I had Snarl, Sludge, Slag, and then finally after years of no leader: Pretender Grimlock. I remember seeing G2 Grimlock when I bought G2 Jazz and G2 Bumblebee at Service Merchandise back in the early '90s..and I never saw him again. Still kick my young self for not buying him..or Starscream..or Megatron..or the other dinos..or the rest of the first wave of G2.. :BANG_HEAD:

And to Loudpedal, that bot just keeps getting better and better!!!!!!!!!

I need some of those purple flight stands..
