I enabled it so that guests can view inline image attachments. I think this will allow images to be viewed in the news section that were originally an inline attachment from the forums.

If you logout, then go to rare-green-beast-wars-ramulus-t57269.html, you'll see the image attachments without being logged in now.

The forums that have a "Mark Topics Read" button work, but the "Mark Forums Read" on the Board Index to mark the whole board read, is still broken.

Alright, I think I was able to fix it now. I tested it and it seemed to work properly for me. Can you confirm that it now works for you Tekka?

You know what else would be nice? If when we all receive an e-mail for a Topic Reply that in that e-mail we get a text copy of the last post" for example:

The tiny little "View First Unread" icon before a topic with new replies works with threads that have only one page, but if it's more than one page it takes you to the first post on the first page of the thread, even in a thread you have posted in.

Other than that, I'd like to say that as one of the Great (un)Washed Masses, I really appreciate all the work you're putting in here. Thanks, Seibs!

Some forums aren't listed anywhere. For instance, I can't find the Philosopher's Forum anywhere. Or has it been removed again?

Also, for the different types of forums (TF-related, HMW-related, miscellaneous) is it possible to make each one a different colour in the list to the left? This sounds like a bad idea, but I figured I'd throw it out there to see if someone can turn it into a good one. Maybe icons? Just for quick scanning, you can see where the list of TF forums ends, miscellaneous ones, etc.

Also, do areas like the staff forum or other invitation-only sections really need to be in the list for those users that can't access them? It's just cluttering.

Which brings to mind something else: maybe we can set "favourite forums." In the left-hand list, there can be our most visited forums or ones we mark as favourites in our profile. If we want to visit other forums, we can go to index.php. The downside to this is that users are unlikely to visit other forums as often. Then again, you could divide the list into headers: Favourites and Others beneath that.

I mentioned it in the revamp thread, but changing the color of links would be amazing. The dark red or whatever that is, is just way out of place and looks awful.

If I could pick any color to change it to, it would be #333366. Which is the color of the navigation bar according to ColorPicker. The hover color could still be the redish color because it looks nice that way. Or the hover color could be a lighter shade of purple.

I don't have that problem but if I click the last read icon for this particular thread I get taken to a page which says it does not exist.

I think it would be pretty cool if there was a "live chat" style section. It would be really great to be able to talk back and forth about random things without email/page refreshes/etc.

The galleries should, for the most part, be back online by later tonight. I think there are about a half dozen or so that need my attention but I'd say that's not bad out of almost 2,000 galleries.

Are the mid thread ads really necessary? I know that their isn't really more ad space for banner ads, but that is the kind of distraction that really lowers the overall opinion people may have for the forums.

Do we really the extra ad revenue? I hope that isn't to help the other sites go live at the expense of things here. And please don't tell me you are looking at a pay for removal option.....

Should be able to add polls, like which version you like better and people can choose a or b or how ever many choices are available.
Also it would be nice to have anew posts on the top so you can check all the new threads right away, I'm on a lot of reptile forums being a small breeder and most of them have these options, come to think of it i'm a bike rider as well and the 2-4 forums i'm on have these options as well.
