Wow I thought 200-300 was ridiculous for this figure now it's higher. Also has anyone noticed a that whenever one pops up on ebay (or here) that it's the PROTOTYPE VERSION. To the point where I wouldn't even want to touch the "promo" version of it. Which still brings $$$. Is something fishy????

I remember everyone was laughing at how horrible Shattered Glass was... two years later the price is pretty much bonkers. You'll be joining News Crew member Mach, he's been crying about SG Prime for a good 3 months now. I think the Prototypes are fishy too, I wouldn'd touch them either. Go for the real deal, you'll pay alot, but the price won't be going down anytime soon.

I've heard most were not into or impressed with shattered glass idea when it came out. I've only been hardcore collecting since the movies came out and have merged into (among the films toys line) animated, some masterpieces few universes/25th anniversaries... but ( not trying to hit a bandwagon) i would've been all over evil autobots and good decepticons. Seemed soo cool. Wonder what some of you thought about this product a couple years ago? and did you pass on it?

also side note i'd like to say that now that i'm fairly HARDCORE collector of TF toys/collectibles that i'm now in tune with the website and what botcon delivers. I would've been in orlando in 2seconds if it the primus package wasn't for G2 stuff. Although it's very nice it's just not what i'm into but i'm sure it will be very collectible. I hope they do something to commemorate the trilogy of movies. (haha sorry i'm already talking botcon 2011!!! jeez my bad) but figures that wouldn't make the 3rd movie. Unicron, Grimlock (remember that skeleton movie fig someone made of grimlock!! any pics??) hotrod ect. who knows.
