The first custom I did, and it took a lotta work to pull off. Three KO's were killed to make this (KOLD SG Konvoy, Double SG Konvoy, and Nemesis Konvoy), and a few joints/parts scalped from Alternator's Hound, namely the semi-articulated hands the has.

I never digged the whole "heavy battle damaged" look the official toy had, since he doesn't actually look that banged up in the comic bits, except for his windshield (i.e Reunification). To simulate that, I actually cracked it with an exacto knife gently so that it had a proper look to it.

The hands actually work very nicely for this mold. They fit the pegs within the arms, and once you sand down the wrist socked so it's a little smaller, the arms close around them perfectly fine. They can still be folded up in vehicle mode too, though they need to be rotated a certain way in order to get clearance over the arms and not break them.

All in all hope you like what you see. I'm no FrenzyRumble, that's for sure...but it was still a fun project.
