Anyone else think that somebody should do a seperate shattered glass tv series or a couple of episodes in prime where they break away from the storyline and try a shattered glass thing?

Animated season 4 would have had at least one episode of Sari and Bulkhead visiting the SG Animated world.
But, aside from that, I don't think so.
Doing an SG episode of Prime wouldn't be that easy to do. As it stands, Prime exists outside of the known TF multiverse, which the current SG world does reside in. If Prime were to have an SG episode, it would have to feature an entirely new SG world that acts as an inverse of the Prime TV series world, instead of the current SG world (which is an inverse of the Classics comics universe, which itself is a splinter timeline of the Marvel US G1 comics).
But as it stands, SG works best in its limited form, being restricted to a few comics and text stories, rather than an ongoing series of any format. While I do agree that its fiction being so hard to come by is a little unfair to the majority of the fanbase, keeping the SG fiction reduced to "mini-series" status makes it work better as the kind of story that it is.
At best, if there were to be any form of SG animation, a TV special or as few episodes as possible of an existing TF cartoon would be the best way to it. Especially if it involved the good Autobots and evil Decepticons of the positive polarity universe teaming up with the good SG Decepticons and the evil SG Autobots in a crossover, like what's going to be happening in this year's "Invasion" BotCon story.

Episode!
I'm a big advocate and supporter of SG toys and storyline. But if we are gonna have them on a medium like TV, then I think it best works as an episode or two. Make it work like a major story line, but nothing that would drag on. Revisit with and episode again, but I wouldn't want it to be a full time show. I think stuff like this works for some of the fans, but not most, so you don't want to alienate everyone. I'd be fine with limited exposure. It'd probably be my favorite episodes as well though!
