I was just fiddling with them when it sort of happened.
Open up shockwaves back and stuff the cockpit in there, then place the round heel thingies on LB's feet in his mechtech shoulder ports, and this is what you get!
Iv'e Dubbed him LORD SHOCKWAVE and it's pretty sturdy for a fan Combo.

Yeah, that's cool looking. I think the red wings complement Shockwave's purple nicely, though overall I think Laserbeak fits better on Megatron.

Awesome find there. Now I have to hunt down a third Laserbeak. One by himself, one attached to Voyager Megs, and now one for Shockwave himself.

Thanks for responding! But yeah, He looks REALLY =P~

Problem is, you cant move him around quickly, or else LB Just pops off, and is a pain to get back on. But if it's just for display, he sits there rather nicely in fact, and you can pose him if your careful enough. He's only fallen off on me once...

LB is really under rated dude, he's actually a really cool figure, and very fun to transform. Go watch Peaugh's Reveiw.

This, absolutely this. Under rated by a great many. I have one where I swapped the head from one of the 2007 real gear toys, one as a backpack for DotM Megs, and soon I'll have one to give Shockwave a nice new backpack. Flames and all.

Oh, and I forgot to mention, LB's MechTech still works perfectly like this, and if you don't like the over the shoulder look, you can combine them and place them on Shocky's left arm for a doublegunning flight mode.
Now, Iv'e heard in more than just this thread, of him combining with DOTM Megs. Is it sturdy at all?
I dont have DOTM Megatron, Scalpers keep hitting him up...

These combos with Laserbeak all look really cool, but I wish we had a Laserbeak with grey or black wings. That would look much better with Shockwave or Megatron. I don't think the red looks all that good on them.

I gots my LB today and combined him with Shocky. Still playing around with it to see how it looks best (and trying to decipher your images to see exactly how you aligned everything

).

I'm pretty happy with LB overall, but after seeing his instruction sheet, I REALLY want Buzzsaw (or whatever they're going to call the thing with the new head and new tail pictured in the instructions) because it looks like a bucket full of awesome

Seperate them, then pu LB's Cockpit in there, top facing down, then Take LB's Heel pegs, and plug them into his back were those two spare mechtech ports are, then finish it by spreading the wings, and putting LB's Cannons into the pegs on the bottoms of his feet.

. It was the cannons that was throwing me off, they move independently of the heel pegs, which explains how you got them to point forward over Shockwave's shoulders.

umm...
Laserbeak is in california, and I'm in Illinois with shockwave.
Basically, you plug his heels into the mech-tech ports on his back.
Hope that helps, that's all I remember.
