I am curious to know if I should expect any more deals on TF, especially at Walmart or do I just go ahead and buy with the assumption that $10 deluxes and $20 voyagers are eventually going to be jacked back up?

My local Wm's here In San Antonio still have their Deluxes marked @$8 and their Voyagers ae marked @ $13.. I think it's safe to say that if your wal marts dropped their prices any lower 8 and 13 would be the lowest they go..So I guess it really up to you and how much you would be willing to pay..I know I'm saving my cash for Botcon this year

Trust me, if you see it in stores, and it is regular price or below, and it is something you absolutly know you want, buy it. You can always get a price adjustment or sell it later, but don't pass on seeing it in retail if you have the money for it.

I know this may sound wrong but only you have the answer.. if you really want it that badly you would buy it anyways.. likewise if you do not want it.. unless its dirt cheap you would not get it.. if you're on the fence then.. good luck.. but the answers still lies in your heart.. yea corny but make the decision of buying your own.

Went to Walmart today and it seems like they jacked the prices for Leader classes back up to the 40s range instead of 35.

my impulse draws me to buy. I always keep reciepts as I didn't know how the TF movie line would be this year. But Primes and Megs were everywhere so when they ended up dropping the price to 35 I returned mine months later and bought them cheaper. Wal mart never fails in customer service with reciept.
but like the last version of the TF movie all spark series they came and went. Wish I didn't pass on deep desert brawl and nightwatch. (finally got nightwatch he's so sweet and blue!!!)
but I expect the same to occur with Nest figures.

you can do that after nine months?

I'm not sure if it was nine months... but I bought my Megatron probobly the month it came out never opened it cause I thought they would pull some new paint job on him as seen in Nest. I just returned it about a week ago... plus the toy is still in the stores. So... however long that was...? pretty long time though.

Maybe it's just my wal mart... but if they give you any problem you can just say it was a bday present that you've been saving or something and they've asked a couple times WHY???. So yes i've returned both ROTF leaders and a slew of voyagers this way. Now I don't return movies or electronics unless damaged out of box new (which was couple times) they are VERY strict on that policy.
Not trying to hoodwink Walmart even though they made close to trillion bucks this past year... but I prefer them as they are flexible and I just stay within their own policy. You can return up to 3 items without reciept in a certain given time. Which I recently did as I was given 4 deluxe transformers I already had. They took all four and gave me a gift card but it was holiday season so they were flexible.

I saved/recieved back around 70 bucks which we all need $$ these days. Does it matter the 70 went right back to Habro/walmart sales : )

I'm experiencing the same difficulties, i realy want to get mp grimlock, ehobby g1 purple galvatron, encore omega supreme and encore bruticus.. all expensive, or human alliance figures which are much less expensive. the question is if i wait a little longer is there a chance any of these figures will get less expensive or just the opposite (due to their rarity). what do you think i should do ?

in your situation, i would just check the major online sellers like bigbadtoystore, tfsource, etc. on a regular basis. A week ago they had encore sky lynx for a really good deal.

get it i did that with target repaint i lke the reapinted colors that chose for them i chose to pass went back the 2 pack is not there i hae ot gon net 2 get that 2 pack misteak i made wont happen again.

answer your question i think toysrus may be cheaper than walmart with transfomres but i never bother to compaer to find out plsu if you have emeberhsip card at toys arus spend enough money you get gift certicafitget for 5, 10, 25, dollars off your next purchase thats good thing toysrus has wlamrt does not
