Last I heard, Linkin Park was going to make a song for DOTM. I forget where I saw it, but I know I saw details on it on the web. Perhaps, there's someone here that's a little more educated on this than I am though.

I've been gone for so long that I decided to give up on keeping up to pace with the movie news. I'm just kind of taking everything in as it comes.

EDIT: Moved to Live Action film discussion. I couldn't decide if this belonged in GD, TF General, or the movie so I picked one. It seems like this is more along the lines of movie discussion though.

Well, since New Divide was such a good song, I really can't wait to hear that one.

Seriously, I was very excited whenever I saw it from music channels on TV and I was even more excited when I finally got it on my MP3 player.

Think it was Yahoo, maybe it was Roadrunner news, but the other day there was an article posted saying that Linkin Park would have a song in the movie, but it wasn't specifically written for the movie, just taken from the newest album. Someone in the article suggested it was Burning in the Skies because of the content of the video, which I have not seen.

Have heard the song, which I think is too slow and meh for the movie. And much of the new album is too far from the usual Linkin Park sound for me to enjoy.

Ya i remeber asking a while ago if we were getting a new song, and someone posted that they didn't have one planned as they hadn't been asked and that time in the studio might affect touring for their new album. Also heard that "Burning in the skies" was going to be used from the new album. I'll be really happy if they do in fact make a new song specificly for the movie! Makes sence since they made one for the first two.
