And thanks for sharing those Metroplex photos. I have seen many reffer to the toy as FOC Metroplex but he doesnt look anything close to the game model. He is much more of a dead ringer for the G1 model, especially the chest area.

I believe that's actually the Dual Model Kit AOE Optimus, which has no backpack (or altmode).william-james88 wrote::lol:You just took off AOE Optimus's backpack? Nice. Looks pretty awesome that way, too bad he becomes a partformer.

I've got the SDCC version of Metroplex, and while it's awesome, I feel a tinge of regret that I didn't wait for the Takara Tomy release instead. The extra paint apps (not just stickers) and the tampograph on Scamper look fantastic. I also love the use of more white plastic where Hasbro used black instead. It makes it look that much more G1 to me. I guess the grass is always greener on the other side? I hope Takara reissues Metroplex sometime soon, especially considering that Fortress Maximus will be coming out in just a few short months.

Really, though, I love your photography skills. Using the Legends/Legion sized figures really makes Metroplex come alive as a "city." I'm tempted to pull my Metroplex off the shelf and play around with some of my old Legends class figures as well.

It was a comparison between the takara unite warriors technobots and hasbro combiner wars technobots compared with the show for their alt modes and robot modes. William-james, in this thread, I will use my models pics for the comparisons; but I will gradually try gladly to satisfy your kind request.
This is a little foretaste

Nosecone looks better to me as a limb on the Hasbro version. It's a very hard decision for me. I like the hands and feet on CW Computron quite a bit. Takara needs to use the new hands and feet and i'd be 100% sold.
Ultimately i fear that i may have to get both.
Or i can cherry pick the individual bots like UW lightspeed and Strafe but of course there is of course the issues of head sculpts aswell. UW wins in that department too.
Ugh.....Like i said, the decision is too hard for me.

I rather like CW Nosecone and Afterburner, the lack of red/white helps them stand out amongst other Autobots.
