I think it's worth having pictures of the toy with his train feet out rather than the shuttle feet; since that's the official transformation, helps to differentiate him from Astrotrain and bears more similarity to the IDW design on the bottom right.

Gonna need a couple IDW comparisons in there. It is what his headsculpt is based on, and what a lot of people will be buying him for.



Also probably worth posting what he looked like in the past in IDW.



And finally, since this is the Hasbro version and not Takara, it's pretty surprising there's no Rebirth comparison.

So he wouldbe based on the early Chromedome design, nice. And makes sense when you realize that toys have a long development cycle at least.

Well, that design is heavily based on the original toy (and his previous fictional appearances pre-IDW), so it makes sense.

It's funny how virtually every major fictional version of G1 Chromedome is so wildly different from all the other versions:

Marvel Chromedome - just an ordinary guy who became a Headmaster bonded to the Nebulan pretty-boy socialite Stylor.

Japanese Chromedome - a hotheaded and youthful field commander who became a Headmaster bonded to a lifeless Transtector that he controls as its head.

Rebirth Chromedome - an unexplored background character with one line in the whole show who became a Headmaster bonded to the Nebulan rebel strategist Stylor (who likewise only had one line in the whole show).

IDW Chromedome - originally named "Tumbler" and formerly a forensics scientist working for the police, a mnemosurgeon with a long complicated history who never became a Headmaster and is in a relationship with Rewind.

To be fair, Marvel and Rebirth are essentially the same. But yeah, I get what you mean - he's like Overlord. Or Blaster. Or Fort Max.
