Let's get back on topic with toy sightings.

DOTM Space Case, Arcee, Jazz and Bumblebee with Cybertron markings sighted at Takashimaya.

Cyberverse Playset The Ark are available at major retail outlets Taka, OG, Metro etc.

Universe/Classics Deluxe-class Bug-eyed Optimus and green tank Megatron sighted at Taka and OG Orchard.

Also saw DOTM Laserbeak at said outlets.

After watching DOTM twice, i still think this is the best of the 3 movies.... Not perfect, but comparitively this is the best.

I need to try IMAX 3D version one or two weeks from now.

I kinda like Megatron new look and Sentinel... Will definitely get the Takara Movie Masterpiece version later on.... Also hope Megatron gets leader class toy treatment...

I watched the movie in IMAX 3D yesterday. Yes it's better than ROTF but that's not saying much really since the later is a really bad movie. I also like the application of 3D in Avatar better. All in all, the fans will watch it no matter what anyone says, but I rewatched the 1986 movie yesterday night and none of the 3 bayformers came even close to 10% of the cartoon.

Lucky you ~ got a seat for imax. Is it in ther center or near the screen? im camping at thier page now... they update their seats today. Must book for the 15th! :lol:

1986 movie is a purely transformers movie, wheareas bay formers' movies are human movies happened that a few robots running around at the background....

Sure but the characterization is quite off and as such why call it Transformers. I am sure many people will be surprised, but I find Sentinel Prime to be most believable character out of all the robots.

<spoiler>It appears weird to me that only he out of all the Autobots is the most concerned about Cybertron i.e. he'll do anything and everything whereas Optimus or should I call him Optidog, a robot that transforms into a human dog, without any question/hesitation will do anything to save our dear old earth. I mean we have laksa, chicken rice, and cantonment coffee and all, but really? I was certainly not looking for an Oscar movie, but things do need to somehow make sense somehow. Sure Earth needs to be saved, but Optidog was acting as if he's been born and bred here, no previous history anywhere</spoiler>.

Anyways I agree with you that I'll be getting the Sentinel Prime Masterpiece figure, he's one kick ass character.

difference between Optimus and Sentinel is Optimus wont want to revive Cybertron at the expense of other creatures life.... Yes i believe Optimus would want to save Cybertron, but not in this way.

If he has the same principle, basically all of the robots are decepticons....

Yah, think Ark will leylong like the GI Joe's black jet toy.

Since I guess most of us will have seen the movie so not using spoiler tag

I feel that Optimus is unlike Optimus because he kills too easily - No mercy shown to Megatron and Sentinel (who sort of pleaded with him). His movie trailer very versatile - armory - really impressed with the trailer transforming into this circle thingy and he arms himself with the sword and shield. The trailer is also his flight pack. Takara should consider including the sword, axe and shield and not just the big gun for the remoulded leader class Prime.

The movie also fast forward too much, in one scene we have Prime saying he has to get trailer back so he could fly before I know he's already flying ard. Then I also dunno when BB and co. got captured as he was like saving Sam from Starscream a few moments ago. But then, we go TF movie to see effects, and the animation is definitely better than previous 2 where I could see who's fighting who.

I think the DA-28 Optimus Prime should comes with movie accurate big gun and shield...... or even half transform stealth mode or whatever crap...

Exactly, despite 'WE WILL KILL THEM ALL', he is still the 'freedom is the right of all sentient beings' optimus. How can such a bot condone the enslavement of a sentient race?

He never intended for *SPOILERS* cybertron to be destroyed, it was an accident, but by the movie's end, no planet liao, what else could he do/say? Suck thumb...

I don't know how believable optimus is as a character, but movie optimus prime was believable as optimus to me.

Talk about movie prime is trigger happy, if i am optimus, i will do the same....
How to u give mercy to the Decepticons that are happily shoot human beings at will, vaporise them with their special guns without any reason, just because they feel like it....

When u got chance to stop them, u show mercy?? No way..... They are a being that can become a weapon at will, unlike human, human can be disarm.... Not them, their hand can transform into whatever gun or sword..... When u discuss about truce, they shoot u from behind.... I guess thats the cybertronian jungle rule....

In our world, we disarm the drug trafficker right? After that we hang them right? So are we merciless as well??
