Sucks. I miss my 7.77USD price...
EDIT: Looks to be just that one store in Laurens, SC. I went to the one nearest my house and they were still 11.88USD.

why is it that the star wars figures and vechiles are still the same scale?

, and the haven't stocked anything for the whole month of July. And when they do restock they sellout instantly before I get to the store. Plus the shelf space is just awful. The deluxes have 2 pegs wide by 3 pegs tall. Were the botshots go is spiderman stuff. The voyagers were booted for those crappy quick tech batman stuff. The store hasn't once stocked the prime cyberverse stuff since wave one.

Because they raised the prices on them earlier. The SW vehicles were $19.99 USD in the early 2000's, went to $24.99 in the mid-2000's and are now $29.99. In addition, the vehicles still need to fit and interact with the figures, so changing the size isn't as much of an option there.
That said, the figures these days are smaller(some shorter, but they're all less bulky) than the Power of the Force II figures that started the Star Wars toy resurrection, but are much more accurate to the person they're supposed to be and definitely more articulated.
