I've got a day to kill. It's just after noon, and thus far I've:

* shoveled the driveway (from round one--we get three-to-four more inches later)
* drank cocoa (after shoveling driveway)
* finished sketch I have to ink for my coworker's kid (he drove me nuts when he saw a doodle I put on the bottom of a student handout until I made him a chibi Bumblebee)
* read two articles for work, one about masochism and masculinity, the other about technophilia (believe it or not, for a paper I'm writing about Transformers!)
* finished sock I was knitting
* had email debate about awful Beowulf movies/comics with fellow medievalist during which Chris Mowry really took a beatin', though I tried my best to defend him

AND then it hit me: I'm LAME! What a dull way to waste God's White Gift. Y'all have to set me straight: What cool things *should* be done on a snow day? What am I missing out on!?! Help!

Homacidal snowman armed to the teeth with any toy weapon you can get to stick in the snow :twisted:

or you could build a GIANT badass snow fort and battle your friends ( i do this every year and my friends cower in fear at the site of a 6ft snow fort that can take more than most houses

)

or build a giant couch out of snow and sit back and watch all that you own (your yard)

When I was a kid I wouild go out in the snow and build trenches and McDonalds cups with straws as the gun and play the Battle of Hoth

yes but when your neighbors see whats going on in your front yard it can create tight neighbor to neighbor relationshipes

People arent neighbourly anymore these days anyway. Im sure they wouldnt have nothing to complain about as long as it wasnt pointing at their house. :grin:
