Rumor has it that it'll be a redesigned G1 Optimus. Supposedly, the sound stage contains a random clip where Optimus/Convoy he will be reborn.

If we get a Masterpiece Star Convoy, it will be all over. I will own that figure.

I really don't think they could do much to make a new Prime unless they either went for an Epic Powermaster version or Star Convoy.

Megatron could use some love though. His legs need to get beefed up.

Yup, a high-end, MP Star Convoy will be an awesome figure to own. Personally, I'd love either Powermaster or a re-imagined Classics/Henkei.

As for Megatron, I totally agree with what you said. If I had to choose between who to pick for a redesign, it'd definitely be Megs. Convoy has a better base design than Megatron by far.

While Megs still a good MP fig, the thin legs could do with some improvement, not to mention the overall fragility of the fig itself.

I wouldn't mind a redesigned MP Seeker mold - with a more toon-accurate robot mode, like the original version we caught glimpses of waaay back before Hipscream was released.

Until then, I have my 7 1/2 Classics style Seekers to keep me company (1/2 = original Starscream paintjob)

Well that's just prime....

Right after I put the cash down for a MP-1L Convoy, they go and announce a new version with trailer. Depending on how much improved this "new" Convoy is [PLEASE let him be a new Powermaster!] I might or might not want to get this one.

Personally, I ain't pre-ordering NOTHING until I see exactly what this new Convoy looks like, and what he comes with.

In reality though. At 250 bucks i'm pretty sure i'll pass on it unless my mind gets blown. The only thing that could really do that is a perfect cartoon accurate Galvatron with ALL the bells and whistles. Or a G1 Snarl.
