I just realized I'm totally depressed. I thought I was over it as I got older, but then I realized I've just gotten used to it. Things were OK til about 19 (outside of being a scrawny little goth loser). Then I dropped out of school, got hooked on Heroin, gave up Heroin (9 months of rehab), gave up composing music, gave up having friends, got married and I'm now stuck in a loveless marriage, had 2 kids, got a decent paying job, quit smoking, my parents think I'm an utter failure, blah blah blah. Anyhow, now all I have are little plastic robots, video games, the internet and animes to keep me company. I just turned 30 last month and now I ask, is this all there is?! Because if so, give me the gun. Anyhow, that's my problem. What's yours?

That's not all there is, it's probably just that all of the stuff you've listed has usurped your time (in a way) and so you haven't fully explored everything else. Your job offers decent pay; are there any prospects for promotion, chances for further development? Your marriage, why is it loveless? Is there someone else? If you're not in love with your wife then there's someone else out there for you.

And, of course, you have the most important things that should make you happy: your children.

My problem, if one can call it that, is that I've become obsessed with women over the past six months. I'm twenty-four and was never really interested in sex before as I mind was always occupied by my books, my toys and my writing, though I have had a few long-term girlfriends (my relationships normally last at least two years) and high-frequencies of sex since I was sixteen.

I'm currently with a very beautiful girlfriend who I've been with for over three years, and just recently I've been thinking about sex a lot more. I've even been thinking about my best friend in that way. I really don't know what's brought it on.

My biggest concern right now is the bills I have to pay. I've been unemployed since April, and am about 3500 in the hole. But yeah, the best thing is to stay optimistic. If I have learned anything in my life, in terms of goals and dreams, is that you have to want it bad enough and work hard enough to get what you want from it. Nothing ever comes easy. Only you can change your station in life. In a nod to Clerks 2, don't spend your life comparing it to others. Whats right for some, may not be right for you. Explore your alternatives, and most of all Godmodule, do what you're passionate about, ie music.

As for Leonardo, I feel you. I've been in a relationship since I was 18. I'm 23 now. Sex has always been on my mind, and though I've been with a few women before I got into my long-term relationship, I'm starting to believe that my single days were better. I got waaaay too comfortable with my girlfriend to the point where I let myself go, but my sex drive is through the roof. In a way, I feel like I'm wasting my youth, and if I were to get back to my wrestling weight ( in shape), then I could be getting it on like Charlie Sheen. Case in point, if you really care for your gf, then talk to her, and communicate how you feel about your situation in life. Remember, when things get hot, think with your head, and not your pants. We all have royal oats to sow, but it all depends on whether you value that over your relationship.

Yes, I see what you mean. The thing is, I would never actually cheat on my girlfriend. I'm not unhappy with her or anything. Even if the situation arose I wouldn't stray. It's just that before, I never even thought about sex unless it was discussed in class at school or if I was actually there, in the moment, barenaked with a lady. Since about the end of last year, however, I can be just walking down the street or sitting on a train and I'll think, "My, my." That's never happened before.

As for bills, well...bills, bills, bills. They seem to dominate our lives at times, don't they? People say money isn't everything but oftentimes it certainly dictates what type of life we lead. Are you looking for work? Are there things that you could go for but don't out of preference? Sometimes we just have to swallow our pride and take whatever we can get. Then again, you might be someone who's willing to take anything but can't find a single thing.

For some reason whenever I eat them it brings on anxiety. Apple free for over a week now and I still wake up nervous and poopy. Still trying to purge the damn things from the system and until I do i'm short tempered and really really moody.

My problem?
I don't have a problem.

I have money, I have loads of free time, i'm lazy and at the moment home alone so I do nothing else but entertain myself with games, anime and visiting friends to play games with.

I need to find a job though... but i'm not really motivated + i'm lazy. So that's my only real problem

As for the first part, who knows, maybe its a sign of getting older. A premidlife crisis perhaps?

In terms of work, yeah there are places that are hiring and whatnot, but the thing is, they arent offering me the same postion I once held, and/or the salary. I was an assistant manager for a photogrpay studio in my mall before I got promoted and transfered. 3 months later, they closed the store down, due to poor business, and I was laid off. Exactly one month later, they call me back to offer me an associates position ( bottom level) at a reduced pay in another mall. I said hell no, and here I am, unemployed. Half of me is willing to take whatever I can take, desparate times. The other half is telling me to hold out until something better comes along that can accomodate my college schedule and offer better pay. Unfortunately, time is not something I can afford, literally. Not to mention my restlessness, which is why I'm on so late and senioritis.

Hm, I think my problem is that I'm 'old fashioned.' No talking about my feelings for me, I like keeping em bottled up inside until they explode out of me in a furious rage of emotions that explode in a furious rage, and when that happens, well bad things happen to a lot of people.

But I'm getting help! After only 37 state restraining orders, and only 15 more to go. My therapist says having a hobby is good. :grin:

Right now I am in a hole myself.....The girl that I loved from the bottom of my heart used me for money I had, and its hard to have a good credit, and money, and all bills to pay on time, when your wife (in my case ex wife) spended faster than I use to make money. Now due to her shitt, pardon the language, I am in debt, I got a lawsuit pending against the bar up north Florida. (Place called Niceville) Aint it the irony?. I call it ASSVille, where I got jumped for no reason by four underage drunk idiots. Suiting the place, and on top of that 16 000$ of unpaid medical bills. This just calls for bankruptcy. And I had to have my Caddilac repoed. (2002 Deville). And I found out that my ex girlfriend faked my signatures and SS# to buy a car at a dealership where her current bf works at, as a manager of sales. So figures she puts me more in debt. Only one way out: bankruptcy. Could anything else go wrong?. On top of it I got dentist appointment on this Fri.

My problems? I just had knee surgery a month ago. I can't go running for at least another two months, and running was my biggest source of stress relief prior to my injury. So I'm lifting now, but lifting just doesn't bring the same sort of satisfaction.

And I will probably have to move in two months time to start a new job, but that's pretty well in the bag; I just have to get a place to live lined up.

There's a lass I'm friends with and I like her. Can't stop thinking about her. First time in many years since I felt like this, and never to this extent. I told her I like her and she said 'We can only ever be friends'. At least it hasn't become akward between us.

My friends have become increasingly open with displays of affection with their partners. It just adds to the all encompassing lonelyness I feel everyday. Waves of depression hit me randomly. Either that, or I become increasingly angry and violent.

No one wants me for a summer job.

I've started drinking alot. I may be on the verge of becoming an alcoholic.

I'm in constant physical pain. The source keeps moving around my body, but ti's constant. The only time it stops is when I drink.

I have trouble getting motivated to get up in the mornings. I do it just to go through the motions of Uni.

I have mentally twisted and very disturbing dreams. Don't ask what they are, alot are not suitable for this site.

On the plus side, I do have a nice new hat.
