Any Skids would do. Maybe the regular one because it can still be found on store shelves for reasons.

Also, try to get a Sideswipe, if you haven't already.

Will do. Just realized you didn't list Perceptor even though you highly recommend him. Surprised Hound is listed too.

Also, what upgrades for ER Prime? I have the Nonnef set.

There's so much we can squeeze in a top 10.

Perceptor would be #11 along his "nemesis" repaint, Select Magnificus. >Especially with his cool-as-fuk Reprolabels.

As for ER Prime, he needed a Roller so I got the ultra expensive Centurion set. Expensive because 25$US of shipping from Pulse. Plus, some 3D printed Shapeway trailer upgrades. Those too, are damn expensive. Finally the Reprolabels to dress up that naked trailer. All in all, that ER Optimus cost me as much if not more than a Hasbro MP-10!

For Nemesis Prime, I got a matchbox car as his trailer, plus some way cheaper custom things for the trailer. Then, of course, the Reprolabels. I also modified his big canons to have only one peg instead of 2 (and painted them), then I drilled 2 holes in his trailer so that they can fit.

Finally for SG Optimus, I bought the dead "Alternate Optimus" just for the trailer. I sold the optimus at my local geek store and gave his trailer to SG Optimus, then, the Repros. Finally, the same cheap trailer upgrades as for Nemesis, and he got a minicon as his Roller.

He's supposed to be reissued in the SS86 line though.

Meanwhile, you could get the Select Cordon and Spinout two pack. I bet it's ironically easier to get.

ooooofffff..... That price though...

With regard to Skids, emgo only seemed to think he was okay. And PrimeVsPrime really didn't like him. Thoughts?

It's them, but me, I really like the mold.

Maybe because the Masterpiece is so good, it bleed some of it's aura of greatness onto the legacy figure? :-?
Regardless, that's just a deluxe. It's not too expensive to try it out. The only annoying part of his transformation is that I never have a clue about the proper orientation of his arms for vehicle mode. I always have to try a few times before getting it right. But appart that, he's a great mold.

BTW, this also count for Legacy Crankcase and his exclusive repaint, Medix. I also have those two and if they make more repaints of them, I'll be getting them.

BTW, thanks to a certain something, I could get Nova Prime early! I should have him tonight.

Keep an eye out for the Legacy thread tonight. ;)

Oh, and that sexy Megatron Lady statue?
She's damn fine, but that price of hers make me go "nope."

I'm so bad at navigating these forums for some odd reason.

Kinda off topic, but is there a third party Arcee that's good and scales well [deluxe/voyager-sized]? SS BB Arcee is much better than my T30 Arcee, but I'd still like a G1 Arcee.

For a good 3P Arcee, there's Delicate Warrior wo is awesome. But you're 10 years too late to get her.

Sill, you could browse AliExpress for some nice 3P stuff for usually a good price.
If you fear getting a knock-off, it's easy. If the "official" toy have a price that is too good to be true, that's a K.O.

That NewAge Arcee looks perfect, just too small.

How do you think Armada Optimus would look in a primarily SS86 and War for Cybertron collection? He looks kind of colorful/cartoony to me... /Thinking

I'd put him in a "other universes" display. Among the other Armada guys, the Prime ones, the Snimated ones, the IDW, the RID, the G2, and so on.

Enjoy Legacy to its fullest with a MULTIVERSE display, AND a "G1/Classic) display.

Are the "premium finish" figures any better build/plastic quality or just the exact same figures with extra paint?

Same thing with extra paint.

So the only reason to pay extra for the premium finish figures is if you are either a completist of a given mold, or they are ironically cheaper than the regular ones on eBay.

Pretty damn solid and awesome. Transforming Motormaster is a bit tricky, but very satisfying. That's also a combiner that is allowed to make poses without ragdolling like wet spaghetti on the ground like the Combiner Wars combiners used to do.

Get the giftset because hunting the figures separately is pretty much impossible and/or too prohibitive.

Regarding figures: are any of those headmasters in retro boxes good? Example: https://a.co/d/bRQYCJ2

Curious: what's your rankings on titan and commander class figures?

These are ALL amazing. So much that I also went out of my way to get their G1 originals as well.

As for my Titan ranking in how they are cool and how they look and how they ate fun to play with:

1) G1 Fortmax
2) Siege Omega Supreme
3) Legacy Cybertron Metroplex
4) Select Black Zarak
5 The Ark and the Nemesis

I guess Metroplex and Fort Max don't get a ranking or were you just going off the ones I own [still don't have nemesis]?

Both of them are "just fine". Titans Returns Triptycon too.

I sold all of them.

3) Seige Jetfire

I always go back to vector prime for a good example, but he is technically from over a decade ago. In terns of recent toys, I did find Leo Prime to have surprising substance.

And of course, Omega Supreme from a few years ago is a really good substantial toy, as is commander class Jetfire.

As for the G1 toys, I have found some of them to be hollow too, like G1 Hardhead. That dude is all kinds of hollow, more so than many modern toys.

Yes and thanks! I actually missed the opportunity to pick up GENERATIONS Metroplex and COMBINER WARS Fort Max. I do have the Takara version of Trypticon because it was, amusingly enough, cheaper than the Hasbro one. Kiddo loves feeding him.
