Heh. At first tons of people made the comparison of Drift to Blurr. And now there's a bunch saying "NO WAI HE DUSH NOT L00K A THIN LIEK BLURR!!!"
Me, I'm just happy he isn't a friggin Bugatti Veyron.

Of course it's probably just Drift hate. What with Blurr being a retooling of him and not the other way around.

Not that I would ever suggest that I like Drift better than Blurr. I am of course also disappointed that he didn't get his own mold. But then again, I'm just happy I'm getting a classics Blurr, period.

As for him looking like a leftover Armada toy... Pfffft ahha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!!! :lol:

Ok yeah he does have some hip and shoulder kibble. But we've already seen that most of it will not hinder his poseability whatsoever.
Plus. Do you see any gimmicks? Because I don't.

Definitely better than the universe prowl mold. Sure prowl mighta had heel articulation and looked almost exactly like he does on the show, but for now, Drift looks more solid, more interesting, and he's got swords, perfect for taking on fansproject blastoff. for 15 bucks, Yea, all of you who don't really like him, don't get him, increase my chances :twisted:

Who really cares about Blurr, baby blue, crack addict, can't even manipulate a dumb version of grimlock into a ship... He died a long time ago when the autobots just used him as a loud distraction

This mold was mediocre to me at first, but I'm definitely coming around. I am really glad Drift is getting a figure, and I'm sure I will be buying him on sight.

Still not sure how I feel about a Blurr repaint. I refuse to pass judgement until I see it.

okay okay, haha, wasn't tryin to diss you and your fav bot bro, but... if they do what they do with most repaints, blurr will most likely come with no guns and only swords

Hasbro: Yes, we have planned a redeco for this item. So to beat you to your next question, it will be Blurr. We have tooled up a new head and weapons for him and let us say, he looks awesome!

REALLY leaning towards buying this, but the all-white color scheme is really going to ruin it if it yellows. Repainting it might not be an option due to the intricate red Japanese wording tampo's (?) on the doors.

BTW, I love the swords.

From the beginning I never made this comparison..
I still say that there is too much going on to really make an accurate Blurr (classic Blurr is streamline and sleek with not much kibble).

I second that. The only real repaint of this will be his old Deception self. I'd saw Wave 4 maybe.

I like the alt mode. At a glance, the bot mode looks ridden with kibble at the shoulders and lower legs but it seems fairly accurate to the comic book artwork.

Animaed Blurr is good enough for me! I'll get Drift for who he is. I like me some swordybots. Maybe I'll make a small display with him hanging out with RoTF Sideswipe and FP Warbot.

Bought on sight. Still, like someone said, a yellowing issue could pose a problem. I'll probably just stick in him an area of my collection that doesn't get much light (same place I keep my G1 Jetfire and other notoriously yellow prone bots). I can't really see him as Blurr, but I like the overall design of the bot so much that I'll probably get both, especially if they remold the head. I just love bots with swords and this guy has THREE!

I love this guy. I think he is spot on. Kinda skeptical about the Blurr, but i'm sure with a new retooling, ah la new head mold and weaponry, it will look good. It would be cool if they could tweak the transformation a little too. Anyway, Drift and his long sword are full of win.

Ya know, the more I think about this retool into Blurr I don't like it. Sure a new head is cool, but did he really have any memorable weapons other then a targetmaster? I also can't see them making a new one or adding in a place for it to mount in vehicle mode.

Do be honest, he'd make a better repaint into Marvel Crossover Deadpool. :-B
