I never did get around to drawing the vehicle mode, but the way I tried to work out the design I imagined her as a sort of off-road vehicle (lending itself better to the idea of being able to hide from Shockwave's sentinels, I figured).

Thanks! It took me a couple tries to get the helmet to look quite right, since I knew from the get-go that I wanted it to look like Doc's mind-reading hat (incidentally, that idea came to me when I was designing the DeLorean TF, but I couldn't get it to work on that design, so I saved it for the train. I imagine if I ever get around to doing one for Griff's flying car in BTTF II I'll probably give the 'bot mode that meat-softener helmet :-P

I'll throw in a couple others from the last couple months here, too:

My take on G1 Prowl -

His TF: Animated incarnation (this based on the early promo poster, so I know his legs aren't right) -

This one, of course, is my current sig - it started out as a joke I was scrawling in one of my notebooks, hence the thicker lines when it was inked -

The Springobots, from left: Bumblebart, Margarita-1, Cosmag, Homus Prime, and LC. I had planned to draw some Decepticon-based foes for them, too, with Burns as Megatron and Smithers as Soundwave (at one point I thought about having 'Montatron' trying to hoist his fusion cannon in a menacing pose, but with his wimpy frame, he'd have to have 'Soundsmith' hold his cannon for him... :wink:

)

Eh, wasn't planning on the truck...mostly cause it'd be a pain in the @$$ trying to get the sarape around the robot mode. :-P

Been outta the loop with TF stuff, but here's one I did today as I was going back reading some of my earlier posts and thinking about the discussion that was had here: http://www.seibertron.com/energonpub/viewtopic.php?f=23&t=24278. With that in mind, I did a digibash using the the best match in the galleries that I could find to the original concept art - it's not that close a match, I admit, and it's not a very original choice, since they had already put this guy through the Botcon exclusive repaint/remold wringer, but all the more in its favor, I say.

It is the Crumplezone mold, which I believe was black and green. For the '06 Botcon the head was remolded so it could be recolored as Optimus Primal in his Cybertronian mode, hence my second attempt.

Well, it's mostly still black, because it's supposed to be Primal, but it does have red/white/blue on it to match Primal's "Season 1" apperarance.

Haven't done TF stuff lately outside of these notebook scribbles - I started going off onto a tangent inspired by the movies, with haunched legs, clawed hands and etc....I also added some small animal-like attributes in their faces as a bit of a BW homage.

I've just been looking through this thread again. I actually prefer your hand made stuff, especially the Time Train, so I'd like to see more of that. I really like the way the Trainbot looks the way it is - just sketched out.

I also really like your Springobots! Probably the only version of Prime that is fatter than the Energon toy! PLEASE do the Decepticon version!
