While I love G1 I also love new innovations and takes on the characters.
I prefer official Hasbro releases of stuff for the most part
I'm not a huge fan of Japanese original Transformers media or designs.
It's easier for me to say which are my LEAST favorite toy lines: Beast Machines, Robots in Disguise.
TFCon List: Classics Skywarp, General Optimus, BW Airrazor, Transmetal Tarantulus, Alternity Prime, Fire Convoy

I did find one Alpha Bravo, but it looks like I might have missed the rest. I was able to finally pick up Firefly and Skydive from Kmart. They were $17.99 so I'd check other stores first as Walmart figures are about $3.00 cheaper.
Good news take away: Wave 1 combiner wars is out there so keep your eyes sharp!
HA HA this is my 100th post!!

Congrats on the 100th!
Have to keep a close eye... I am in the Anderson area. Last week I went out and was able to find the entire Wave 1 line. (Minus the legends.) This line has slowly coming into the state and I would expect as Wave 2 comes closer it will get more and more stocked.
Hasbro Toy Shop has been the place for me, along with Amazon.

I went in yesterday and he had a great selection of vintage to modern Marvel figures, MOTU, Ghostbusters, Star Wars, and of course Transformers. Great prices and good quality. I got a G1 sludge in great shape sans weapon for $40 bucks.
Transformers wise he had G1: Jetfire, MIB Trypticon, MIB Metroplex, MIB Sky Lynx, MIB Glavatron, complete Gnaw (fantastic shape) Onslaught, Grimlock, Swoop, Grapple, and several others.
He also has quite a few Energon, Universe (original universe as in BW repaints and the like),and Armada stuff.

They still have most of Bruticus/Combaticons.
Have not been to Toys R Us in a few weeks... And the Target over here is pretty useless in most regards.

Live near Anderson? I'm in Oconee, we neighbors dude!
If you happen to see a Sky Lynx when you go out checking send me a PM, I'll do the same for you if there's something you're looking for that you cant find.
