Just a question about the Human Alliance Spike Witwicky that you get with Backfire.

What is his relationship too Sam?
Uncle? Brother? Cousin?

Just a little trivia question.

If this went off the Marvel comics then it would be his older brother who later on went to "pilot" Fortress Maximus..
Of course, Buster Witwicky was the comics main human character.

Also, my Backfire has his rear left wheel on backwards, so it doesn't fully fold in his weapon mode.

He's Sam's father's brother's nephew's cousin's former roommate. Which makes them nothing.

What I understand is, 1984, Spike and Sparkplug first meet the Autobots when they were rescued on the oil platform. Then Spike meets Carley and they have a son, whom they named Daniel. (Transformers The Movie)

That is true, from the cartoon continuity.
What I mentioned is from the Marvel Comics continuity.

From TF wiki

"Buster" and "Spike," as well as Butch, were all names considered for the Witwicky boy character in early production material. One such early document shows Spike as the original name, but crossed off and corrected with "Buster" in pen (in Bob Budiansky's handwriting). This suggests that Buster was intended to be the final name of the principal human character, but either Sunbow did not receive the revised materials, or a mistake was made somewhere. It is believed that "Butch" was a very, very early name for the character.

I noticed that Spike and Sparkplug are both in the Human Alliance range of Dark of the Moon.

I wonder if they'll have Topspin as Human Alliance as well?

"Sam was not given the nickname "Spike", nor his father the nickname "Sparkplug" (though his wife does refer to him as "Spark"), because unlike their G1 counterparts the movie characters are not oil rig workers or mechanics. Earlier drafts of the script did have Sam earning the nickname "Spike" another way, but this was dropped before the script was finalized."

I think you misunderstand my quote.

Roadbuster was made into a Human Alliance toy, fully like the movie version, guns and rockets and a human NASC car driver.

I was wondering if Hasbro will do the same with the other 2 wreckers.

No, I was just wondering if, on the topic of Human Alliance figures, Whirl's box referred to him as a member of The Wreckers in addition to Leadfoot, Roadbuster and Topspin. I know he isn't in the movie, but sometimes Hasbro throws stuff like that in as a G1 reference.

You have to work on an oil rig to be named Spike and Sparkplug?

That wiki needs rewording, methinks.
