So finally Transformers my IDW Collection Volume 1 arrived this morning after a mail delay due to Christmas, i thoroughly enjoyed Megatron Origin, and after finding a copy of IDW Collection Volume 2 on an online store I'm deciding to get it though after looking at the Collection series on TF Wiki i came across the All Hail Megatron series and so my question is, is AHM linked to the rest of the IDW Universe series and is it worth getting?

i did see that it was described as "All Hail Megatron' twelve-issue run is almost entirely self-contained" I'm not particularly interested in collecting this Omnibus if that is true as i prefer one continues story

If you keep on with the hardcover "IDW Collection" books, All Hail Megatron will show up in them in its entirety eventually. It just happens to have a separate hardcover edition of its own as well.

The only separate hardcover I'd recommend is Last Stand of the Wreckers. The issues, again, do show up in the overall IDW Collection books, but its separate hardcover contains extra prose stories that are (in my opinion) kind of a big deal.
