Howdy ladies and gents. Looking to pick up any missing AoE figures on the cheap? Of course, aren't we all? I spotted both deluxe and voyager class AoE figures at Ross Dress for Less discount store today on my lunch crawl.

They had voyager figures marked for $9.99 and deluxe figures marked for $5.99.

They also had various Hero Mashers and Construct-Bots available as well.

Appreciate the heads up, snagged AD Slug, Slash, and Snarl. I didn't need them, but now I'll have them, so whatever. Also got a HG Build Fighters kit of some thing I don't even remember from the show for like, $1.50. I can only image how terribly it must have sold.

Slug is the most dramatically different, with Slash not far behind. Those primarily give that metallic plastic/paint vibe that one typically got from United toys. Snarl has a bit darker green and some parts molded in black/grey that aren't that way on the Hasbro one (might be wrong on that, don't have in hand yet).

Grimlock is basically the same figure, but with red dinosaur eyes. Strafe is also very close, mostly the same but with some added paint to the Dino heads. Slog adds some metallic silver paint apps.

Scorn is a slightly darker red overall, with some different paint colors/apps here and there. Subtle, but huge improvement and probably the one I'd recommend the most.

Gundam Build Fighters is a series released on Youtube, for free, internationally by Bandai. Its purpose is to sell model kits. It worked really well, so they made a follow up season and distributed it the same way, hoping to sell more model kits. It worked again, so it's speculated that an OVA or yet another season will be happening at some point soon.

Enjoyment of it kind of requires either a) being 6-11 years old or b) a fondness of Gundam series or model kits from the past 36 years. It's over the top, aware of its cheesiness, and is totally hype. I can't say I recommend it to someone not already in love with Gundam, but if you don't take yourself or the show too seriously, it can be very fun and worth the watch :)
