It's the regular leader class figure, not the First Edition one.

That is the one that eventually got the takara upgrade. However, this one does not have the upgrade. It is the better of the 2 Leader AOE Optimus toys though, if that is anything to go on.

The other leader toy did get the full silver treatment though (more than any other leader)

That Grimlock really have a nice and exclusive deco. However, that Optimus not only look like the same as the regular one, it even manage to look drab. The only reason to buy is if you never had the regular AOE Leader Optimus and Grimlock. If you already have both figures but you REALLY love that Grimlock, go for it and give Optimus to Little Timmy.

Why the hell not? FREE SHIPPING on top of that. And a big, HUGE box too! Man, shipping the big TAV leader Optimus cost 40$ alone from Amiami. So, how in the flying hell can they make any money here? My guess is they dont and the GO! line failed miserably. Oh well, I will not complain!

I hope you didnt take it personally, I simply could not resist. I find it funny how he has been on liquidation everwhere else (tons of amazon sellers) for a year and now BBTS makes a big splash by reducing his price to the point where he is still more expensive (plus the shipping). And yeah, the black label is very pricey, especially when someone can just go to a convention and get a non random sketch instead.

So kanrabat, did you actually buy it? Do you own the mold yet? I would have gone for it more if it had a new head like the others. Though I do agree that someone is losing serious money if the shipping is free. Like the deal we got with the others.
