I really hope that it doesn't start a flame war, I just wanted to see what other stuff people have seen, but you are right.

I know in the past I have seen old versions of figures repacked into a re-paints packaging, I even saw a Classics Starscream repacked and returned in a Universe 2.0 Starscream package.

I own that 'repack'. I'm still not sure it even is. I've constantly gone over the packaging and i don't see anything to suggest it was repacked.

I saw a dead end destroyed box with permanent market with name anthony on it's bubble. nobody will buy that toy! Christmas return i suppose.

I haven't seen any transformers in the wrong package. I've seen several that got about half way transformed, some pieces fell off and then they are just tossed into the box and put back on the shelf. I've seen quite a few of the GI JOE Cobra Legends box set(Silver pack) that were full of cobra commanders and various stormshadows while the troop builder figures were missing.

I stopped into my local Kohls tonight, no Genertions, but they did have HFTD Deluxes and Scouts.

I found the following crazy repacks all together on the shelf, all hanging right in a line. Pretty well repackaged too:

Target Dark Green Hardtop returned for Crankstart

Cybertron Lugnutz for Brimstone

Pink Energon Arcee for Backfire.

Someone really wanted some new scouts, but didn't want to pay for them!!! Crazy!!!

The strangest ive seen is at a local Walmart near me and it was HA Sideswipe in a NEST bludgeon box!! Again somebody wanted Bludgeon and hated HA SS....
