I stopped by Target last night, and they had the shelves all set up for the "reset" (I think that's what they call it) of new DOTM toys. They had all the labels set up, showing which figures go where and their prices. It got me pretty excited. They even had two MechTech Deluxe BBs hanging there for some reason, but otherwise all the shelves and racks were empty except for a few leftover Skullgrins.
Anyway, I asked an employee when the new figs would be on the shelves, and she said Monday the 16th is the street date.
Toys R Us.com says the new toys SHIP on the 15th, so I think that means they also won't have the new toys on the shelves until the 16th. Right?
So is the 16th the official US street date? And if so, is anyone else (who works fulltime) thinking about going into work late so they can do some shopping first?
Or do you think the stores will put the new toys out on the 15th, maybe in the evening?

In Australia at least, the Target street date was changed from the 16th to the 13th.
Most Targets released them tonight, the 12th, so I bought all the ones I wanted. I'd be surprised if the situation wasn't the same in the US.

Yes May 16 is the official street date in the U.S. for Dark of the moon toys. I will probably pick up a few but I am going to space out my shopping. I aleady have leader Sentinel Prime so I might pick up megs and a deluxe of some sort. However I can wait until after work to do so.

Does anyone know if any store exclusives are due out on May 16? I know that BB/SW/Rodimus pack and that Prime/Comettor pack have already been sighted, but I'm mostly interested in the TRU scanning deluxes and the Target deluxes and voyagers.

I don't know, but I think store exclusives usually come in later waves, after they've had some time to sell the "common" figures.

For the movie toys, the exclusives have almost always been available on launch day. The notable exception was the Blackout/Scorponok/Scorponok 2-Pack (Toys'R'Us exclusive) from '07. And that was just not shipped in time. It came out 3-4 weeks after the street date.
