Stress marks in hands: Animated Arcee, RTS Wreck Gar

I've noticed a potential problem with my Animated Arcee and RTS Wreck Gar figures: they're developing stress marks inside their hands from inserting and removing their weapons. Has anyone else noticed this? Should I be worried? Should I stop putting their weapons in their hands? I'm afraid their hands are going to just snap in half one day. And there are probably other figures with the same potential problem.

On Wreck-Gar? Really? Did you force it in from the thicker part? I'll have to check mine when I get back home.

Animated Arcee is a known issue. I have that also and now I'm very careful when putting her swords on. She is okay so far, though.

Also heard Animated Hot Rod has this issue, too.

there's a quick fix for Arcee that was posted on here before. I don't remember where exactly, but all you do is cut off the plastic strips on either side of her swords and they'll fit fine.

I've heard that ROTF Bludgeon can have this problem, although mine doesn't seem to yet. I'm guessing that since we're getting more and more figures with open hands, this problems may become somewhat more common, unless Hasbro finds a way to fix it.

Old news for Arcee. Just don't insert the sword (imho she was more of a gunner than a fencer in her previous bio)

Yeah, I had problems with Arcee (the Takara release), except it wasn't the swords, it was the posts in her alt-mode (her thumbs were almost falling off when I got it). I reinforced them with some superglue, but she won't get transformed much as a precaution.

Damn! My Wreck-Gar's right palm has a stress mark line. This is why I missed fist hole so much (or something like Straxus's articulated palm). Open palm may look better but not practical. As in another thread I've posted, my RTS Perceptor's open palms can't hold anything until I stick a double side tape in.
