Swapping heads

I am planning on making a custom Alt Prime, by recoloring Grimlock. But swapping the Prime head to GL, I found that the ball joint was too small! Is there any way to like fix this?

EDIT: ****! I posted this in the wrong forum by accident! Sorry mods!!! :cry:
