Here we have 3 versions of a powered-up Optimus Prime. I would like to know, which one of these you would crown the best figure. The only aspect that absolutely doesn't play a role here is the pricepoint. Just imagine you could pick just one figure for your own collection for free. Which one would it be and why?

Takara 2-Pack Jetpower Prime has the best paint job by far plus Buster Prime is definitely the best mold of Rotf Prime. The 2-pack Jetfire also has a superb painting. Combined Jetpower prime is a beast to behold. On the flipside one could argue that this figure consists basically of a Buster Prime holding Jetfire as a giant backpack. I like the fact that everything here is transformable since Jetpower Prime transforms into 2 separate figures.

Ultimate Optimus Prime: In my opinion the Optimus figure alone is inferior to the other figures in question. There is no arguing that the Buster mold wins here in every aspect hands down. Ultimate's big plus here is the fact that Ultimate has a trailer plus this trailer is fully transformable into a badass battle-suit. Again I like the fact that everything the powered-up version consists of is transformable. Combined the Ultimate is a little stiff but looks bad-ass all around.

Jetwing Prime: Jetwing uses the superior Buster mold but lacks the premium paint job of the Takara 2-pack. So the basic Jetwing-Buster is definitely inferior to the 2-pack Jetpower Buster Prime. On the other hand I like the minor improvements of the Buster mold like the added abdomen-area for Jetwing Prime. Also the Jetwing-gatling pack is as bad-ass as it gets. Combined with his Jetwing-pack I think this is the most awesome and menacing looking Prime but there is one major drawback beside the non-premium paint job: The Jetwing- pack is not transformable. Transformed into Alt-mode you are forced to attach this huge Jetwing-pack to the truck which will not longer be a robot in disguise then. This and the non-premium paint job really bothers me since I think that Jetwing is otherwise the most awesome of these 3 figures.

Let me know what you think of these 3 figures. Which one is THE powered-up Optimus Prime?

My vote goes for the one that I myself bought. Jetwing. I love the jetpack, and if configured properly with his truck mode, makes it look like an X-Wing fighter/truck, which is just all kinds of awesome .

I was amazed when I stood it up next to my Galaxy Force Prime only to realize that this is where they must have gotten the inspiration for this figure in the movie. The two big guns slung under the arms, the large wings on the back.

While I agree on the paint apps, I got over that very quickly after seeing him standing there, dwarfing the rest of my collection with is massive wings and ginormous guns. Faces will be taken by this Prime .

Well My vote is for the ultimate optimus.
IMO he is one of the best bigger primes due to the fact that he has much more play value that the buster mold. Also this one has a trailer that holds all of the weapons.

I don't like Ultimate. His robot mode is inferior to the Leader class version, and I really don't like his Sparkly Butterfly mode.

My vote goes to Jetwing Prime.

This is tough. IMO Buster takes the cake by far. So if I didnt have a movie prime already, I'd have to go with the Takara 2 pak. That mold with that paint is just a must have. Now, if you already have a leader Prime from ROTF (even if it's not Buster), then you already have one of the best Primes ever made and the only thing you need now, is not a Jetfire backpack, or a "Jetwing" backback....what you need now is a movie Prime with a big glorious trailer!

I'm going with Ultimate...but as stated previously, and like everything in the Transformers universe, nothing is perfect..or ultimate, as it is true the figure by himself is inferior. I also feel that the trailer is missing paint apps, and is a little too big looking for the cab it comes with and a little too small to go with the leader Prime.

I think quite on par~

2pack= movie accurate, best paint job, best playability, not very good articulation on combine mode.

Ultimate= worst basic prime, best trailer playability, loose combine mode, worst articulation for combine mode.

Jetwing= movie accurate, very good paint job on Jetpack but not good on prime, solid combination with Jetpack, good playability, best articulation for combine mode.

Jetwing prime still have some hope~
There is another prime releasing so hope it's best painted and able to combine with the Jetpack.
Don't you find it strange for Jetwing prime's Jetpack to be fully painted and not the prime?
I suspect it's the Japanese way to make ppl buy 2 prime~ for the complete color scheme.
They had done that a few times already~

My vote is for Ultimate Optimus. The basic Optimus really isn't that bad. Even his forearms- they are not as big as the pictures lead to believe. I also think it has the best head sculpt and best head paint apps. Very detailed for something smaller than a Leader. Plus the play value is so much more for Ultimate Optimus. You get his trailer, a battle suit (use your imaginations!), it is the penultimate movie-verse Prime in my opinion. When combined it is just an imposing sight.
