I don't negotiate anymore. I do what I want, when I want. Don't like it? There's the door. Don't kick my deliveries on the way out.

Joking aside, my girl doesn't care one way or the other. As long as we get to spend time together she doesn't really care what we do. Hell, she's going to her second Botcon with me and she isn't even a fan. I win.

This IS a good deco. But if it came down to me choosing, give me the Armada incarnation.

Hey, I was a kid when Armada was showing, so that automatically makes it "teh greatest". I'm merely using the logic of 99% of the people here.

Haha, but to be fair, she's pretty supportive. A few times she's told me to buy something because it's on sale and I'm going to get it eventually anyway. And she didn't even downright turn down a suggestion to go to Botcon this year. Possibly because it's at Disney World... how's about next year they have it in Seattle, eh? I would be SO there.

Do you mean in the movie or this incarnation. The problem is, the coloirs will be different on everyones screen, and in the movie he appeared to be a charcoal grey, but that could be down to lighting and the way the animators wanted to convey it. Weather or not the official colours are black or not, a deep grey like the accent grey on his upper body would be much more suitable. In planet mode there will be alot of black, and that isn't gonna help convey a g1 movie accurate Unicron. If those sheel pieces on his back are black as they appear to be, It really does beg the question, what were they thinking. And if they are a dark charcoal grey, that still would be too dark. And why is the hand still translucent, do they really think that a gimmick which is another production cost gonna help sell, in fact it has the opposte effect.
Looking at armada and g1 Unicron, I never noticed before how similar the designs are. I always though the spikes on the forearm were an armada inclusion, now comparing the 2, the detailing on the hips and chest are similar and apart from the collar missing and the inclusion of some extra detailing, it would make an almost accurate incarnation, some of the kibble is there due to engineering and would be seen as a result out necessity. The armada Unicron, apart from it's tacky, oh look at my glowing hand and wow amazing translucent parts was a gem amongst lousy armada designs. I even like the fact that its not a perfect sphere, it's more of a huge space cruiser. The feet are weird if you think about it, the heels are bigger than the actual foot, but some how it works. And the skeleton wings work really well, I can't sem to get the shell wings to stay on and sit well so I leave them off, but all in all a great toy.

This makes me very happy I've passed on Unicron in the past. I'm all over this and already have it preordered.

Now, if I can just find room for it, the upcoming AT-AT, and the other new Star Wars vehicles I've recently purchased. Apparently I definitely need a bigger house.

This looks incredibly stupid. Movie Unicron is yellow. The Armada toy isn't completely accurate, but it's close enough. This is a damn Halloween toy.
