That would be tough though. I would like my vehicles to be in scale but then again i see tailgate as a small guy you know. So i would prefer if he were small.
Plus, there's always that 'small car, giant jet' thing, which means starscream would tower over any of the cars.
As for Brainstorm's repaint/remold? What about Dreadwing or even Darkwing.
Really like these though, but apart from tailgate, hasbro's look fine enough.

In this scan you can see that Legends Brainstorm has replaced a lot of the grays in the Hasbro version with blacks and the red and blue on Legends Swerve and Tailgate is darker as well.
