The prices on Amazon are cray-cray though, lol. I want a better figure anyway.

They really werent for those. They were about 45$ when they appeared there. Is that crazy? I mean for a Japanese con exclusive.

Is DOTM Deluxe Prime ok? I think its a great deluxe figure. Plus, RID has a deluxe Prime out. There is also WFC and FOC deluxe Prime. Now that i think fo it, we have had as many deluxes as voyagers when it comes to Prime.

They did say G1 cartoon accurate. Tbh I kinda want the same thing except Voyager. I adore my Classics Prime but you can't quite beat the elegant, powerful yet simple original design for Optimus. It's incredibly iconic.

I agree. And yeah its kind of crazy how we never did get a G1 accurate prime in Voyager Scale.

I agree. And yeah its kind of crazy how we never did get a G1 accurate prime in Voyager Scale.

Perhaps one day, if we're really good and ask REALLY nicely, Habro and Takara will come through for us.

Until then we'll have to deal with classics Optimus with his awesome redesign, powerful look and great articulation; and CW Optimus who can become an Optimus combiner and has great height and presence to him.

I was looking over BW Primal and he is very dated to me, especially how he has no wrists. For a toy of that size, the poseability isnt optimal. In comparison, Cybershark (and thus Hellsream ) have all that articulation, and even less restairined, at the deluxe class and Powerpinch does too at the basic class. And that is super impressive. That toy doesnt feel dated in the least.

The more combiners Takara dishes out, the more I want them to just release the separate figures. Personally I think they'll make more money selling the individuals. That, or Hasbro can take time to add a bit more detail to their figures. Don't get me wrong, I find no problems with the Hasbro figures, I'd just prefer some details and some sets (looking at you Grand Galvatron!) to be released in the Americas.
