The new facesculpt on Brainstorm looks so crisp and clear. A sharp-looking retool, if I do say so myself.

Sometimes when I see a repaint/retool of a figure from Takara Tomy, I have this "Oh my gosh that is a million times better!" reaction. This, not so much. Now the difference between the TItans return Blaster and Takara/Tomy Legends Blaster are much more drastic than this.

In general that's happening a lot with the Titans Return figures. A few exceptions to the rule like Blurr aside, Takara's takes are either barely different; or are only drastically different due to representing a different version of the character rather than just being better - ie Takara's Brainstorm is very different to SDCC Brainstorm, but you can't really say one's better than the other when one's a very good representation of Headmasters Brainstorm and the other is a very good representation of MTMTE Brainstorm.

Being a stoopid carbon based bag of flesh who just isn't satisfied ( I did managed to keep Twincast from popping out insistently by careful angling 45 degrees with his neck groove to the neck clamp)I would have preferred if Broadcast had the black feet of TR Blaster.

I'm 50%/50% on his face being unpainted as the TR Blaster silver paint apps aren't that nicely applied.

still think the fact they didn't include his iconic handgun is a bit of a let down (besides other issues I might have). Takara seem to have tried to address the issue with the silver painted muzzle but it's still far away... at least there's the shoulder cannon.

And according to Figure King #227, Godbomber is fully transformable from trailer mode to robot mode and back without any partsforming involved (minus the Headmaster, of course). Meaning as compared to the original that required partsforming for both modes, it's only the power up that requires it. That's already a given based on the hinges seen in the hobbymag images. Seems to be following what the "original" Godbomber design intended but was eventually scraped.

Man that extra rifle looks cool. Sorta like the rifle from Ultra Magnus that PM Optimus Prime uses. Hopefully I'll have mine soon.

Finally... I was able to log into my PayPal account and pay for the shipping for Super Jinrai. For some reason Paypal was having issues with my password. Had to change it, and let a couple days go by before I could log in.

Can't wait to get him. He looks awesome.

So where's the sentient transtector Ginrai then? But if Vipe did resurrect Devil Z, then could those sentient transectors suddenly become non sentient, opposite effect we saw at the end of SGMF? Devil Z said something to that effect that he was responsible for the godmasters coming to life etc etc.......Wish those figs arrive asap and a fan based translation comes out soon.

You asked about Ginrai, not Wipe. Wipe got sent to the Legends Universe. Super robot lifeform God Ginrai didn't.

Look at him right there, in the middle-right panel:

Human Ginrai = in the Legends World somehow with a brand-spanking new lifeless Super Ginrai Transtector that he's now bonded to.

Living super robot lifeform God Ginrai = in the G Nebula 89 of the main Japanese G1 cartoon universe, still sporting his original Masterforce cartoon body and which he will still have when he goes on to appear in the Victory cartoon.
