This strikes me as very poor practice on behalf of either the manufacturer not able to meet quota, or the retailer for over promising.

Either way, I hope I get mine because I passed on the US releases of these gals.

Unfortunately, given the extremely small number of pieces that we will receive, we have determined that there is no chance that we can fill your entire order, so we've had to reduce quantities to a limit of one TKT81295 per customer, regardless of how many were ordered.

We're as disappointed by this news as you are, as we were looking forward to selling many pieces of this item.

Our apologies for this unfortunate development. We look forward to your continued support of HLJ.

Pretty sure this is what happens when you have a butt-load of people buying multiples of the same figure to open, keep in box, kitbash/mod, and/or sell on ebay.

You know what sucks? This was the ONE time I was thinking about grabbing the Takara version of a figure instead of the normal one. Figures that the one time I decide that is also the one time that the figure is in short supply.

Jokes aside, that really sucks for anyone affected, especially after how much Takara's been hyping these. Seems like they seriously underestimated demand. Hopefully they can do a second run to meet it. I can only hope this isn't caused buy people buying up multiples. Good for them in limiting quantities at least, then more people get a chance.

We've been directed to a handful of side-by-side comparison images showcasing the TakaraTomy releases of Arcee, Chromia and Windblade standing alongside their Hasbro counterparts, courtesy of Twitter user gikogakodo. The main differences are paint decos and tampographs, but said differences do seem to be quite striking when placed next to each other. Unfortunately, it seems there will be a shortage of these figures, according to HLJ (which we reported earlier this morning), so enjoy the images now and keep your fingers crossed that we'll see more of these produced on the Japanese end of things.

I really like that Arcee. If I could get that one, that would be great. Chromia, on the other hand, I think I'll go with the Hasbro version. Both versions of Windblade look good, so I'm glad I got the Hasbro one!

Glad I bought from BBTS. Looking at the comparison shots, im happy I also bought the hasbro versions. Fembots are worth double dipping on for my displays.

I think the email was only for those who ordered more than one... I've got Windblade on order, as IMO, she's the only one that I believe has a better looking deco than the Hasbro version.

Hopefully my ordered will be fulfilled....

I prefer the Hasbro versions of all three. Not much in it for Windblade, Hasbro Chromia looks more colour coordinated and Arcee looks a bit cheaper without the black. It also helps bring out the other colours.

I'm glad I ordered the Hasbro versions of Arcee and Windblade. I already own Delicate Warrior so Hasbro Arcee can be her own thing while Delicate Warrior can remain my "G1" Arcee. Takara Chromia is "meh". That purple really clash. However, Takara Windblade look deffenitely better. Still, I'll keep my Hasbro one. She's awesome enough!
