The veil of mystery surrounding Takara's Transformers DSM DA-28 Striker Optimus Prime has finally been lifted. Takara has updated their official website with images revealing the figure in full. The figure is a remolded version of ROTF Leader Class Optimus Prime featuring a new MechTech weaponry and a shield that can be attached to the forward section of his truck mode to mimic "Stealth Force". That ramming plate is badass. I want the plate and weapons as an add-on kit compatible w/ 1st movie Prime.

Very sweet fig.. really glad they did something with the ROTF leaderclass mold, as the ones of OP in the Dark of the Moon version leave alot to be desired. Though i will more than likely pass on it due to the fact that this weaponized mode wasnt shown in the movie. So glad HASBRO officially announced Leaderclass Blackout!!! NOW THATS GONNA BE A SICK MUST HAVE!!!!

I'd like this as an add-on kit for ROTF Leader Class Prime. As well as Buster Prime's gas tanks. I'm sure some 3rd partier could make it happen. lol

Striker's not exactly what I was expecting, but I'm quite a bit impressed, here.

$100.00 ain't bad, really.

I can't see Hasbro quibbling too much over the price of this one. It looks like it could be carried here without much trouble.

To truly have it all, you'd need the following:

Buster Prime's mold with paintjob but with the face mask.
Jetwing's jetpack and modified arms.
Striker's modified sleeper section panels, gun and shield.

It could be done, but it'd be incredibly costly. Someone will do it though.

Not only did you mention Leader Class Blackout, but tried passing it on as a genuine release and for that, I must pummel you.

Never really wanted Leader Prime until now, but I've been liking Stealth Force ever since I started playing the game, I also know that there's more Stealth Force-age to be had than what they show here

, which should be fun, and really, for a Leader class, I don't think 100 bucks is that bad of a price, Leader class dudes sold here are way more expensive, :-?

Once again they come out with a Japanese exclusive Prime (IT IS COOL) so they can RIP US OFF, price gouging. A leader Prime with some attachments shouldn't cost more then $50 in the states. But when you get a Jetpack Prime or any others they are running nearly $200+ after shipping, which is TOTAL bullshit!!!

The best way to combat these outrageous prices is to NOT buy any of these if they are grossly overpriced through outlets or even HAS/TAK directly. Voice your opinion to them. Instead a few crazies plop the money down quick as can be its ridiculous and yes I am ranting,lol.

AT LAST! It is revealed! And I can honestly say I don't know how I feel. If it had chrome and silver I'd be all over it, but then that wouldn't look right given the apocalyptic nature fo the movie. Does anyone know if this version still has the forearm mounted blades?

Oh sure, give HIM the awesome paintjob and jetwing the grey plastic. Takara's really becoming like apple and totally screwing with their customer base by making us gotta catch um all :-x

This looks really badass, but im its not jetpack-badass and the jetpack played a more "significant" role in the movie.

I kinda hope they release a "ultimate" pack which has this, and the jetpack. But obviously not. And im sticking to jetwing due to costs :-(

Yes! A DOTM leader/bigger Prime that looks awesome in all modes. To me the Jetwing Prime's vehicle mode with chainguns looked a little goofy.Normal , Stored on back, Stealth force,And giat gun and Shield robot mode. The only thing this needs is a switch on the back ot the head that lets the face plate slide on and off. If HA Jazz and HA Roadbuster have sliding visors , as well as multiple Bumblebees with drop masks.Why can't Prime have a sliding faceplate? Hope this comes out in the USA.

Already pre-ordered since July here, and staying that way. As far as price. It's a Japanese Market release, of course it's expensive because it's made in really limited quantities. I would put money on if Hasbro ever releases a DOTM leader mold, it will be san's everything but the Buster guns.

He will look good next to ROTF Booster Prime, DOTM Ultimate prime, and DOTM Jet-wing Prime. Do I care if I get another leader prime? Hell no! Because the Mold is one of the best to date, If not the best Ever to date, even toppling MP01.

BBTS has this listed for $120, and they charge $30 shipping to the UK so you're looking at just under £100. It's still quite a bit expensive, but not quite as bad as you'd think.
