Just got my payment request from HLJ for Menasor, and promptly paid for the set. ~$140AU (before shipping) still works out cheaper than hunting down the Hasbro equivalent locally.

Will ship him (and Kabaya Seacons) after next weeks pay.

So with the impending arrival of Menasor, it's time Superion made his way from the lounge to the TF collection room. Unfortunately I need to move things around for him to fit ...

I'm divided at the moment. HLJ is my primary source but I don't think they're going to be carrying "Guardian" so I was lucky enough to snare him through PremiumCollectables.
Not paid either, just plugging the site sponsors.

Fellow Seibertronian Shumi Nagaremono has posted the following on our boards letting us know that UW 02 Menasor is now shipping (and arriving) from Amazon Japan. This lets us know that orders from other websites should be shipping out soon as well. He gives us some nice pictures of the packaging too.

If anybody's interested, I put together a short video showing 360 degree turnarounds of the five Stunticons in vehicle, robot, and combined mode.

There's also a 3D version, if you've got a 3D monitor (or the new version of the 3DS, via the web browser).

Pretty nice set, all around. A few loose bits here and there (especially on Wild Rider) and some others that are almost too tight. TakTom's paint scheme appeals to me more than the Hasbo version, but that's just personal preference. Still prefer Superion, but I don't regret ordering this. Menasor is a bit more top-heavy than his predecessor, and can't hold such dynamic poses without assistance.

If Superion was a 4.5 out of 5, Menasor's a solid 4. Maybe 4.25.

Keep the evidence coming. Just because you're from another continent does not mean a Mod can't get Moderated too. I kinda enjoy being the pinata for now before I see someone doing a reverse a little earlier that they think. Eating foot and the like.

The winner of this set is MM. The others don't really do it for me, but that MM is really awesome

I agree. The motor master is the best looking of the group. If they were sold separately id pick him up.

It's really only just Breakdown and Wildrider who looked underdetailed to me. I'm fine with Drag Stripe being yellow and orange instead of yellow and purple, but something about Breakdown's shade of off-white and Wildrider's light gray chest don't look right to me (which for the latter is also odd since Break-Neck had a light gray chest too and I think it looks fine on him).

I'm wondering if anyone that opted for Hasbro Drag Strip for Takara Menasor plan on staying that course or a change of mind perhaps. I too planed on using Hasbro Drag Strip but I'm on the fence til more pics get posted and perhaps someone do a comparison of the two.
