The artwork looks so dark, which is a shame, because you can tell the artist put a lot of work and detail into it. That said, the box designs are much nicer for the Takara versions than what Hasbro throws together.

Well, except the G2 boxsets that Hasbro has coming, those look exceptional (based on Superion's box).

I can't wait to have Groove in my collection.

UK is a tax "heaven/hell", like the tongue in cheek motto Singapore is a "fine" city, so many fines. I just responded on the query as I did not raise the issue of taxes. Implementing a cradle to grave socialist programs do require money, lot's of it and where does the money come from? Us. The public. Simple economics 101.

I too find the constant complaints tedious but we, the public should know, nothing in life comes free. You want the subway to run on time, hospitals to serve you at a push of a button etc. It all comes from Us.

Mods are people too. Some Mods also post off slighlty meandering responses to a subject but later edit it out when called out.

Let me repeat, I did not raise the issue of taxes. I just responded matter of factly. In UK, you recently have a more conservative leaning government but your programs are still in place, just with a lot of cutbacks in services and higher taxes.

Taxes too affect the release of certain products in a particular region. Ever consider that? Why no particular subline of TF is released?

I didn't mean to cause any thread derailment it was just a "shopping" complaint not a political one.
Like saying how much we miss the Woolworths store it is just a thing UK toy collectors tend to do 'a lot'.
We don't have many options to buy toys locally any more, I guess that can be partially blamed on "Getting older Younger" though.

Just saying I'd like to be able to buy Amiami pre-orders on things like Unite Warriors Giftsets but it's not practical for me to do so is all.

So for the moment I'll have to just paw the screen instead.

Just saying I'd like to be able to buy Amiami pre-orders on things like Unite Warriors Giftsets but it's not practical for me to do so is all.

In any case, the Defensor Giftset isnt and wont be offered on ami ami anyway, so its an even bigger headache.

I'm pretty sure it's because they work on these things on a computer screen, which is backlit, and it looks fine, but then when they print stuff out and you're now depending on actual reflected light off the printed image, it's way too dark and murky. Same thing happened to comic books when they started doing computer coloring instead of hand coloring (not specifically the IDW comics, but comics in general, though IDW's stuff is certainly an example of stuff being way too dark and murky).

Ramondelli's art was always too dark for me. cant really make stuff out. But I still really like the artwork, just wish the night scene could be a little brighter, but I can see why they did it since the emergency sirens stick out so much better
