Insurgent wrote:Computron himself is excellent. There's a bit of of play before the ratchet in Lightspeed's combiner port, meaning Computron has a bit of knee wobble on one side, but he still holds fine. Other than that, they really went above and beyond with all the remoulding. Computron may be my favourite. And that's from someone who doesn't really care about the technobots as characters.

LOST Cybertronian wrote:Just pulled the trigger on UW Computron. It's the only UW combiner I will get. The new heads and weapons along with the mold choice for nose cone (although I hate the hands on the mold) far outweigh the new hands and feet on the Hasbro version and scrounge. There are many 3rd party options for hands and feet and it wouldn't surprise me if the Hasbro hands and feet gets the Ko treatment.
Burn wrote:My intention was always to put the CW hands/feet onto UW. Which I did the other day. As I said, slight colour difference but not enough to worry about.
This morning I swapped Afterburner. I definitely prefer CW's colours and he looks so much better on UW than UW Afterburner. Aside from Nosecone the UW Technobots are basically red and white. By using CW Afterburner I break that colour up even more.

Gaudreau wrote:I was always just a collector of MP scaled figures but my 6-year-old son loved the CW stuff. His first foray into Transformers was Hot Spot. This past weekend, I walked by a store in Chinatown and found UW Superion. I never had a full set of the Aerialbots or Technobots so that always bugged me. I of course jumped on that set and bought Superion.
My son and I had so much fun today putting him together and for me, showing him how to transform all the various modes was so awesome. I showed him pictures of the Superion I wanted as a kid and he laughed at how boxy it looked.
We're now hooked on this line so I've decided to get Defensor (we need 4 more bots), UW Computron, Menasor, and Devastator. This has been known in our house as the weekend my son got into Transformers

Keep an eye on HLJ as we approach Q4. They marked it down earlier this year pretty significantly, plus it was before the Yen strengthened so it ended up costing me less than the Hasbro one before shipping and thanks to their Private Warehouse system, not much more after shipping.o.supreme wrote:Surprisingly, unlike most UW, he is still readily in stock on several online retailers. I wonder at what point they may actually drop the price to liquidate stock? It has been out *basically* since end of last year, so a good 8 months +. I would imagine most folks that wanted him already have him, unless like me, they are actually waiting to see a price drop (unlike UW 5-7 so far which are actually skyrocketing in price).

Really thought I'd have UW Comp by now. Supposedly it's happening at the end of this month.
Sounds like this set is a big hit overall.
Not to mention, to save on shipping I'll be getting UW Brut in the same haul.
